For those who might not know, weekly photo updates of construction are available here. It doesn't look like a whole heck of a lot left to build.
here is some more info

Here's how I see it:
Hades was a statement. It was the first big project for the new company showing what they bring to the table - That the most insane and rediculous ideas can actually work. On top of that they're obviously going to market their first big project.
Voyage was/and is just stupid. It's the craziest thing ever. It took Hades statement and threw it out the window... Along with all previous wooden coaster design. Honestly, how many of us weren't at least mildly excited over that ride? How many of us are still totally enamored by it? It's the most insane wooden experience ever. Obviously posting updates for that ride with that kind've draw was somewhat of a priority.
I just want to reiterate that I'm not talking sh*t about Boardwalk Bullet. It looks like a fun ride - It just isn't even remotely close to the scale of the other two. I know I wouldn't go all the way to Texas just to ride it. Hell, I wouldn't go to Texas to ride Voyage and I hate/love that ride.
I'm guessing it's a combination of the less radical design compared to Voyage and Hades. Boardwalk Bullet looks like a fun ride and all, but it's most definitely not a Hades or a Voyage...
But at the same time I think BB is quite as radical in its own way in that it looks like it will offer a really fierce intense ride for such a tight compact space.
While both those rides are fun experiences. They are relatively short and in small footprints.
BB takes a small footprint and packs every element, speed, big drops and surprises on a pretty long coaster for that amount of space.
Chuck, who likes Cornball but never thought it was the GREATEST as some state.

What puzzles me is the lack of info on the GG website as compared to Hades and Voyage when they were being built.
I was reading it has more Wood per square foot then any other coaster ever built.
So a lot of action in a small compact coaster.
Which could fit in ANY park.
We will see more of these Compacts. *** Edited 7/17/2007 9:04:46 PM UTC by PcMan***
