Waffles & Ice Cream - $2, at the same place as the tri-taters
The Mexican part of the International Food Court has good buritos (I forget how much.. I think $3.75? But worth it!) and also deep-fried brownies. $1.75 for just the brownies (3 brownie squares) and are soooo delicious! It's also available with ice cream and toppings, but I haven't yet tried that. Perhaps next time I'm there. :)
Cesari's pizza is great.. especially the taco pizza (as long as you don't have to deal with a supposed supervisor named Angela. The *only* Knoebel's employee I've ever dealt with who was extremely rude and actually called security on me when I asked for a cup of tap water...still trying to figure that one out!)
Every time I'm there I think I spend over $30 in food - but it's a LOT of delicious food.. mmmm... :)
"Gummier than chicken" doesn't exactly sound appetizing. ;) Then again nothing could be more disgusting than caviar. ;)
I will have to try them at PPP. :)

Alligator is decent, although I haven't tried the "bites" at Knoebels (I'm betting they're breaded, yes?) I'm not sure I'd use "gummier" to describe it -- chewier, perhaps. I thought it was more beef-like in texture, but with the milder, "chicken"-like flavor.

"You seem healthy. So much for voodoo."
The fact that you proudly say that you are spending $30 bucks on food says something though about the over-all choices and variety...as others have posted on other topics..."Perceived value." If you are looking forward to spending $30 on food, you know it will be good.
The bottom line is that there is something for everyone and nobody walks away hungry.
Here's To Shorter Lines & Longer Trip Reports!
I'd say the consistency is somewhere between chicken and calamari (OK, squid). The breading is on the spicy side. They also give you a thick, creamy dipping sauce but I couldn't really identify any flavor to it. Overall, I'd say it was worth being adventurous.

My new favorite food is the D&D Pita at the Warf.
It is a cheesesteak with onions peppers and sauce on a pita. But you better be hungry or split it with somebody. The gator bites are great too. They are chunks of deep fried alligator meat.I'll be at the park tomorrow and I have been doing good sticking to my diet so I might just get the Knoe-bowl salad.
Damn!! now I'm hungry
i have to add the d&d pita as my new favorite, damn that thing was huge!!! a perfect compliment to fancy fries. but yes, you're going to need a partner.
