Pre-reg deadline for HoliWood Nights is 4/21/07

(Jeff said it was okay to post this.)

Just wanted to post this reminder that the pre-registration deadline for this year's HoliWood Nights (May 18 & 19) is this Saturday.

Here's the link to the flyer and FAQs: www.holidayworld.com/clubs.

Although the event is earlier in the season than last year, the bonus is that we expect lower event attendance this year, since ACE is coming here as part of their convention in June.

(Do the math: Lower Attendance = More Rides 4U.)

Anyway, since there is a $15 "Procrastination Tax" if you sign up later than Saturday, thought you'd appreciate the reminder.

Hope to see you next month!

Paula

Those deadlines sure do come up fast, LOL...look for another *decorated* registration coming soon. Just not TOO soon...I have a reputation to live down to... ;)

Thanks Paula! :)

Send mine in friday.

One month, Can't wait!
Chuck, still waiting on his double night rides :)

Would people be willing to wait a little longer for them? Expecially if lines aren't existant like Raven and Legend weren't at times last year.

Safety checks of course but less walking, More riding :)

Yikes that came up fast! Mine goes in the mail tomorrow.

As is my tradition I'm bringing a friend who has never been to Holiday World. In fact even though he loves coasters he is not involved in the enthusiast community* and his knowledge of coasters outside of California is very limited. I've purposely kept him in-the-dark (no pun intended) about the park and the event. All he knows is that we're flying to Louisville to attend a coaster event.

My plan for Friday ERT is to keep him on Raven and Legend until all traces of daylight are gone. His first experience on Voyage will be in the last row...in the pitch black! Yes, I am evil ;)

(*yes, he's been adequately warned about us, lol)

Im bringing JOHN ALLEN. NO KIDDING! Also never been to HW&SS.

And anyone visiting for the first time should ride Raven and Legend first. In that order. It will let you see how good they are before taking the dive on Voyage.

Paula,

We are bringing our 3 yr. old, and 6 yr. old. The six year is old/tall enough to participate in the event. Is the charge for her $38.95 as well?

My hubby has been begging me to go to HW, so now maybe he will shut up about it!! ;)

FF--

That's correct; our group rates don't vary with age.

Thanks, Paula

Once again, business gets in the way of pleasure, and I'm going to have to skip it. Curses.

However, the good news for all of you is that I canceled a room at Santa's Lodge. So, if you haven't gotten a room yet, there is at least one more available...

Moosh, you are a true friend! That guy will thank you!

Paula, I loved this event last year, and the whole experience at the park. It's my new favorite park! Very much looking forward to it again this year!

I did it at the last minute! My buddy is terrified of roller coasters but I talked him into coming. The line, "They are all smaller than Wild Thing" was the clincher. He got on that before even though he was scared to death. This is going to be fun!
