What is the landmark of your homepark?

At your homepark, what do you think is the landmark? It doesn't have to be a roller coaster, but something that makes you think of that park. At SFGAm (My homepark), I always think of the Raging Bull, or the merry-go-round in front of the pool.

I would have to agree with you partly. I do agree with you that the Columbia Carousel at SFGAm is a landmark at the park but not Raging Bull. I think it would have to be Whizzer.

Id have to say Cedar Point, being my home park would definately be the Magnum or now MF. maybe the merry go round at the front of the park..its a beaut

At Holiday World, the big sweeping turnaround of the Raven over Lake Rudolph is what makes me think of the park, and so does the top of Legend's lift poking out above the treeline. And at SFStL, the Screamin' Eagle sitting on the hillside does.

SFNE's is probably a toss-up between Scream! and Superman.

MY Homepark is C.P. AND MILLENIUM FORCE CAN BEE SEEN FROM QUITE AWAYS FROM THE PARK

It can really be argued that many different rides are the "landmark" of SFGAm.

First, you have the Columbia Carousel, a beautiful double-decker merri-go-round right at the entrance. I'm guessing it was designed to be sort of a landmark.

Also, Raging Bull is the tallest and most popular coaster there, and it can easily be seen from quite far away.

Whizzer is one of the last (if not the last) of its kind, which makes it a landmark of SFGAm too.

Shockwave is the first ride seen from the entrance to the parking lot, so in a way, it is a landmark as well.

But IMHO, Batman: the Ride is the park's landmark. While it has been cloned at countless SF parks in the country, it has one title that can never be taken away from it: It was the very first inverted coaster in the world and still remains an excellent ride.

My "home" park is Six Flags Elitch Gardens. I think the landmarkis probably Twister 2.

my home park is knotts berry farm and the landmark is definetely Ghost Town and Ghostrider, its a world class coaster that fits perfectly in its surroundings.

My home park is SFMM and I think the land mark of SFMM is that huge red Tower that sit's atop of the mountain. Another landmark I think of when I think about SFMM is Superman:Te there's no way to over look a 415 foot tall steel structure. Viper is also landmark quailty b/c it the first thing you see when you enter the park.

SFGAm- to me the landmark was always sky whirl,(the triple armed ferris wheel) R.I.P

I think the landmark of Dorney Park would be, either Steel Force or Dominator.

The Parachute Sky Jump Tower has been Knott's landmark for decades, but I'd have to say Supreme Scream is the park's more realistic landmark. Why? That 325 FT Turbo Drop structure can be seen from miles around.

The landmark attraction of SFGAM is either the Columbia Carousel or the American Eagle. The Eagle is a glorious site when traveling North on I-94.

I think Batman made the park into what it is today. That was the ride that brought the people to the park.

earlier today I was speaking with my friend on the phone, and she was being really quiet, so I turned my phone up to full volume and she was still very distant sounding. So i told her "you sound very quiet, even though i have my phone up to full volume." so she screamed "BATMAN" and i hung up because I could no longer hear ANYTHING she had to say, due to severe ringing in my left ear.

Scream! at SFNE. Since SROS is in the DC Superhero area, which is lower than the rest of the park by 45 ft or so, SROS (210) is almost level with Scream (190). Scream appears higher though because of the flags on top. Also, the white towers serve as a great centerpiece to the park.
