Anyone Like Togo?!?!?!

I was wondering if anyone else likes Togo standups? I know King Cobra is on my Top 10 but that might be because it was my first standup. Does anyone else like these coasters. I was also wondering if anyone has ridden the racing standups in Japan?

I like Shockwave, PKD's TOGO Standup. I've heard a lot of people bash them about being uncomfortable but I think they are just wimps. They are good rides that I want to ride more than once.

The only Togo I've ridden is the King Cobra. If all Togos are similar to that, then I would say that I really hate Togo.

Isn't TOGO and Tylenol a team by now? :)

I think TOGO sucks, just look at Viper at Six Flags Great Adventure its the worst coaster in the park and no one rides it.

TOGO generally has a pretty bad reputation among coaster fans, but with the exception of its really stupid restraint systems, I believe that King Cobra is a nearly flawless ride. The great first drop, the intense, black-out-inducing loop, the fast helix, the airtime hill, the trick track, and the two unnerving bunny hops pack a neat punch. Do I like KC as much as I like Mantis...no, but it is STILL a great ride as far as I'm concerned. Yeah, the restraints are dumb and primitive, but hey, this was a prototype!

Coasters...the best natural buzz available.

The one and only TOGO I rode was Windjammer at Knott's Berry Farm in Spring of 1998. Not only was it uncomfortable, it was deathly slow. They ran only one side (so much for racing), and no one was ever in line for it.

I hate the TOGO standups. I have ridden Shockwave at PKD and King Cobra at PKI and they both were pathetic. Those coasters are extremely short and very rough. TOGO restraints on those coasters are ugly and stupid. I wish parks would get rid of those coasters. Put some B&M standups or standups from other better quality companies.

I'm not a huge fan, but King Cobra at PKI was ok to me. TOGO's are no B&M's though, but I do like the airtime on KC.

Togo has built 7 coasters in North America, and I have ridden 5 of them. I don't find the standups uncomfortable, but I raced bicycles for ten years so my backside is pretty tough. Otherwise I find Togos to just be uninteresting.
King Cobra - Boring ride
Shockwave - Same boring ride
SkyRider - Same boring ride plus cute trick track that tips the train partially sideways.
Manhattan Express - Least interesting hyper that I have ridden.
Viper - Painful and not all that interesting.

I loved King Cobra. I hated Bac..ugh..Windjammer. So, I really haven't decided yet until I get to ride some of the others. I'm guessing I'll like any of the stand-ups and Ultra Twister looks really neat.

TOGO makes roller coasters. I am a roller coaster enthusiast. I love roller coasters. Therefore, yes, I like TOGO. In COMPARISION to other coaster companies, they are not exactly my favorite, but they make coasters.

Im gonna say what others have said, flat out, TOGO sucks!!!! The King Cobra at PKI is definately at the bottom of my list if it even makes it.

I've only ridden PKD's Shockwave...and I like it...No other coaster lets you stand up and Go upside down...!

Ive only ridden 1 and thats Ultra Twister at SFAW which is smooth as glass and is ver comfortable!
