Anyone Like Togo?!?!?!

I never got a chance to ride Windjammer. However I have rode one TOGO creation: Flashback's Trains at SFMM. Yes I know it was designed by Intamin and built by Giovanola. I believe that most of the "roughness" from it mostly from the TOGO trains. I can't judge their other creations until I have tried them out.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I've NEVER heard that, and I don't think it's accurate. Can you back up that claim?

The only outside work I can think of is Togo did a lot of stuff like train manufacturing for the Mad Cobra at Suzuka Circuit (Premier Rides).

OMG Peabody you have never heard of the other stand ups in the world!!!!!!!!!! Man! You can't tell me you haven't heard of, Chang, Mantis, Vortex borther's, and Riddler's Revenge the grand daddy of them all! I know there is more but I can't belive you have never heard of these! You think One vertical loop is fun try over 4,000 156 high , 6 inversions of Riddler's Revenge! I geuss another young enthusiastates like me, (14) I had to learn too!
Whoops, you got me wrong Todd. I was quoting someone who said that KK was the only looping standup, and I went on to say that there are plenty others out there.

I know Chang, Mantis, Riddler, Shockwave, Iron Wolf, Vortex......I've ridden them all! :)

(My later post was referring to that I hadn't heard that Togo built the trains for Flashback, and I didn't think that was right.)

I have never been on a TOGO standup, but I have ridden the Viper at SFGAd quite a few times. I've heard the ride get bashed MANY times, but I haven't had any bad experiences on it. While not close to being the best coaster at the park, it is a fairly interesting ride. Judging by my single TOGO experience, I can't say that I dislike them.
Viper and manhattan express are terribly painful and not exciting. The Ultra Twister is however(Having ridden it in it's original form at SFNJ) very exciting and was not painful, just a bit short. If only we could have a full length coaster designed like the Ultra Twister Togo may be able to save their reputation.
Out of all the rides at pki, I would have to say that the king cobra is the worst rollercoaster i've ever rode.the restrant's that it has where the most unconvertable experiance ever.
I have more fun jumping on Pogo Sticks than riding Togos :)

"I've only ridden PKD's Shockwave...and I like it...No other coaster lets you stand up and Go upside down...!"

Every standup coaster in North America has one or more inversions.
OOK Peabody happy to clear that up!
No biggie, sometimes I read posts with quotes and get mixed up in who said what.

I've been on four standups and I think King Cobra is the best (over Manits, Iron Wolf, Chang). You get good airtime and I love the Helix. I think the layout is way better than the B&M standups with the Bunny Hills and only one inversion. As for TOGO, it's the only ride by them I've been on but I'd say they are better than, oh, Arrow Dynamics.

Go Bucks Go, Beat the Magic!!!
I think King Cobra is the best too inverted_one and I've been on Mantis, Iron Wolf, Chang, and Georgia Scorcher to add to that.None of the B&Ms had any airtime and the helix, trick track, jerkiness, bunnyhops, etc. make it a great ride IMO. And it still brings in a decent amount a people that all come off smiling. I remember a picture I saw of a train full of Mantis riders. Half were smiling. The other half were cringing. Very funny and I wouldn't agree unless I had experienced it many times myself. I'm still crossing my fingers to have fun on RRv. I say add sitdown trains on B&M stand-ups so the other half of us will have an enjoyable ride. :)
