Wrong. The 360 and forthcoming PS3 (if it's ever actually released) will bury the poly count of most computers that don't have a $300+ video card.

i'm actually psyched for thrillville to be out on psp. i travel a ton and spend countless hours on busses and downtime between band rehearsals and shows, and that thing rules for my lifestyle and schedule. can't wait to be able to build rides and parks on my portable! hey quite honestly, and from these posts i know many will dissagree with me, but that's fine, i would be fine with rct3 on a console if they fixed the lag. thrillville looks to be basically that, but if they want to add in mini games, then hey, all the better! for example, i actually always thought when i built go kart tracks in rtc3 it would have been cool to race on them, and thrillville looks like it's along those lines. between liberty city, vice city, socom, and thrillville, i'm not sure my psp is going to need an "off" button! :)

I am not impressed.... rct3 was poorly written. I have a friend who owns the best computer , which isn't available to the public due to its extreme cost and rct3 still managed to crash it. I will never buy any game from the makers of rct3. Only way I'd buy it is if they switched to a company that knows how to design games the right way.

Sounds believable.

I don't lie, the computer itself cost over 2 million dollars. In any event, the rct3 game sucked...it won't work that much better on a console seeing how consoles are a computer as well they both have processors with memory and speed...and if you have a good console it has hard drive capability...so therefore if rct3 failed on pc...it's proceeder will just fail again... its another dissapointment...or a quick fix to cover their *** for their rct3 mistakes. its not worth it.

since i've never seen a game lag on a console since 8-bit NES i'm pretty sure this is gonna rock. and by the way, RCT3 didn't crash my $800 dell, so i don't know what you could have spent 2 million on... *** Edited 11/5/2006 1:21:20 PM UTC by neilpeart***

Is it possible that this game could be released before the year is over?

Sim City 2000 for PSone lagged a lot.
I'll wait for the reviews until I even consider buying Thrillville. I do like the idea of being able to play mini games within my own park. This game could be spot on what I am looking for if it was a 3-D version of RCT2.

^But, will it work with my TV? It only cost $1.2 million so it might not be good enough.

They sent me a copy, and I should get it by tomorrow. I can't post a review though until next Friday, so I'll have to sit on my thoughts until then.

The cool thing about having it on the console is that the gameplay should be easier-I am not a huge fan of playing computer based games, I much rather the feel of a PS2 controller. As for the videos on Youtube, check out the one where they show how to make a coaster/go kart track. It looks like it can make the process nmuch quicker, and this could be fun.
I thought RCT 3 Was fun, but the extreme long loading times, and sometimes having the track levels "never be at the same height" was ridiculous.

forgot to add one tihing, I think that talking to the guests is a cool feature, because you are then able to adapt your park to what the guests want, instead of just getting that little bar that flashes at the top of the screen.

I work in a Computer Store and the $1,200 demo we have Played RCT3 like a dream. Lagged minorly when I got alot of crap in the park but never Crashed. Get your $2 million back buddy.
