Probably close to it. I would imagine a shirt from Idora Park or West View Park would be up there as well.

My guess is it wasn't an enthusiast, as the only thing an enthusiast runs for is the gravy buffet!

I once saw someone flash his ACE card in line for a ride at CP while yelling at someone for standing on the rails or smoking or something. I can't remember the exact offense, but it was truly hilarious.

Did he drop his fanny pack?
Was there a distinct smell of gravy in the air?
Did he explain to you that he could run around to the entrance in 22.2 seconds which was enough time for the Beast to make it 54 feet up the lift hill, but only if it's been greased in the last 48 hours and there hasn't been any rain in the last 24 hours?

Sure I'll go slowly from ride to ride during the day but watch out as it's approaching closing time!

Why bother running down the ramp to try to get back in line? I tend to run for the nearest empty seat that has no one standing at the airgates waitingfor....after all how do you think I managed to snag 15 laps on rebel yell a couple years ago?

It's definitely all about the shirt,you can spot a coaster enthusiast from a mile away if they're wearing any park related material...makes them stick out like a sore thumb.

Sorry, I don't have a punchline myself, but this is how it works.

1 point - mention of being fat, mention of liking buffets, mention of gravy in any way, shape, or form

2 points - card flashing, GM quizzing, obsessive emailing of park personel

3 points - inclusion of obnoxious onride commentary for a basic cable TV channel, mention of pointless ERT sessions with huge lines, mention of perennially late club publications

Bonus - add one point if you can include at least one item from each point category

Wow your description of an enthusiast described me and my friend PERFECTLY when we talk about Raging Bull. Just replace Voyage with Nitro.

5. One to actually screw in the lightbulb. One to tell the history of light bulbs and the many different kinds used on chaser lights through the ages. One to flash all of their ACE cards at any passer-bys just to let them know, and 2 to alternate running back and forth to the nearest buffet to feed them all until the job is done.
