"You must wait one minute before posting"

Hey Jeff,

Is this error message a new feature to reduce spamming or has it always been there? I cant type very fast, so I wont often come across this, but I found it funny that I did. So it the time-limit really just one-minute or what?

Yeah, I turned that on a few years ago to prevent post flooding. I'm contemplating a number of different schemes for the next version.

I thought it came around about the same time as we had some spammer (perhaps anime, IIRC) who FLOODED the board with new threads directing us to the anime website...

I do type fast, really fast, and I rarely hit the one-minute barrier....if only I could break that time for a quarter-mile... ;)
