How far are you from your closest park?

Pacific Ocean Park, Santa Monica Pier, less than 5 miles. Knotts is 25 miles; Disney resort 30 miles; SFMM 35 miles.

How long does it take you to get to your favorite?

Approximately 10 hours: 5 1/2 hours to fly into Newark; 2 hours to get car, drive into the city and pick up Jimvid, Flare, and Martha and drive back thru the Holland Tunnel into New Jersey; then 2 1/2 hours to drive to Knoebels.

1.5hrs to SFGAm depending on that wonderful Chicago traffic.

1.5hrs to Indiana Beach.

4.0-5.0hrs to Mt. Olympus, SFStL, and SFKK.

Enchanted Forrest was right down the road from me back in the day until that went out of business and they put in Splash Down Dunes.

The closest park to me is the Adventuredome, about 5 miles away.

My favorite is 1941 miles away, near Cincinnati, OH. Because nothing beats Racer backwards.Nothing.

Favourite park is about eleven and a half hours away by air... Gold Reef City. Nearest park is probably Blackpool, about 30 minutes by air - or maybe Oakwood, about 3 hours by boat.

How close am I to the nearest park? (Knoebels). According to my map, about 2 1/4 inches. Dorney is about 2 1/2 and Hershey is about 2 3/4.

How close am I to a defunct park that nobody would ever believe used to be a park? Less than 1 mile. (Dream City, aka, White City, aka Schuylkill Park, defunctparks.com )

How long does it take me to get to my favorite park? About 9 hours 10 minutes less than Moosh.

26 miles or 45 minutes to Kennywood. Sad part is, if we hit bad traffic, it can take longer to get to KW than GL at 90 some miles and 1.5 hours. Pittsburgh traffic can suck.

in 2001 I lived in Orlando...so IOA and USF was 15 min (where I worked at that time), Disney park were about 20-30, SWO was about 30, and my area favorite BGT was about 1.5 hours away. This is relevant because I am moving back there in about a year.

Right now I am in Central PA. Lakemont and DelGrosso's are both about 30-40 minutes, HP is about 1.5-2 hours, KW is about 3 hours, Knoebles is about 1.5, CP and SFGAdv are both about 4-5 hours in opposite directions, SFA is about 4 hours, and my favorite park PKI is about 7 hours. :( Their are more that I have visited but not often enough to mention.

Heck, a stalker could triangulate my exact address on the map given this info, lol.

Cloesest park is Dorney, about 50 minutes, 50 miles (almost entirely highway driving)

Favorite is Hershey, about 2 hours

I live about 10 minutes from where Willow Grove Park was but that doesn't count of course since it's been closed for around 30 years.

40 min from Hersheypark and Williams Grove
1 hr 40 min from Knoebels and Dorney
1 hr 15 min from SFA
2 1/2 hrs from PKD
3 1/2 hrs from BGW
3 1/2 hrs from Kennywood
2 1/2 from SFGrAdv

Probably the closest for me is Dutch Wonderland at < 30 minutes.

As for my favorite, it's a couple of hours on a plane down to Florida. Universal Orlando. *** Edited 1/30/2006 3:23:30 PM UTC by Pale Rider***
