This is my drive time, MOSTLY obeying the speed limits:

Camden Park: 35 minutes

PKI/Wonderpark/Coney/LeSourdsville: 3 1/2 to 4 hours. (It would probably take about 2 hours if they had a major interstate going from Charleston to Cinci.)

Kennywood: 4 hours

Geauga Lake: 4 hours

Cedar Point: 5 hours

Hersheypark: 5 hours

Kentucky Kingdom: 4 hours

Holiday World: 5 hours

Dollywood: 4 1/2 hours

BGW: 5 hours

King's Dominion: 4 1/2

Carowinds: 4 1/2 roughly

I guess you can say I am blessed and cursed at the same time. ;-) I am within a days drive of a TON of parks but then again, I can't exactly stop by after work.

Hey Folks! I live about 20 minutes from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, 1 hour from Paramounts Kings Dominion, 2 1/2 hours from Six Flags America, and 3 1/2 hours from Paramounts Carowinds. Unfortunately Im 8 1/2 hours from my favorite park, Paramounts Kings Island.

I now live around an hour west from SFA. But I grew up in Kettering, the neighborhood you pass right before the park (on the right if coming from the DC area) on Central Avenue (or did they change the name?). I was only 5 minutes from Wild World (the name at the time I was there) but I didn't care much for coasters then and we only went once. Shame I lived close to a park and never went :(

EDIT - For distance to other parks, here's my list:
2 hours to PKD
3 hours to BGW
2 hours to Hershey
3 hours to Knoebels
3+ hours to Dorney
4 hours to SFGADV
4 hours to Kenneywood
And 3-5 or so hours to some of the smaller PA parks *** Edited 1/31/2006 5:10:55 PM UTC by Zimm***

In a great area here for travel:

20 Min: Williamsgrove (closest, but not visited since 2002)

40 Min: Hersheypark

1 hr: Dutch Wonderland (again, not been there in about 4)

2 hr: Knoebels, Dorney, SFA

3 hr: SFGrAdv, Clementon (a bit longer drives, but still do-able day trips... especially Clementon for the coaster formerly known as Tsunami)

"Yes... well... VICTORY IS MINE!"
5 Miles from Clementon Lake Park... home of Tsunami errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrum.... J2.

45 mins to SFGAdv what I call my home park.

2 hours or so from Knoebels... My favorite park.

Watch the tram car please....

10 minutes to DLR (less than 5 miles)

15 minutes to Knott's which I see twice a day on the way to and from work. (less than 6 miles)

Knoebels: about 1 hr.

Hershey: 1.5 hrs.

Dorney: 1 to 1.5 hrs.

SFGADV: about 3 hrs.

SFA: about 3 hrs.

CP: 7.5 to 8 hrs.

CP was amazing, going back next June to ride Maverick

Since I live relatively close to SFGAm, travel time relies haevily on traffic. With normal traffic, 15 minutes to the park (7.5 miles away) from my home & 15 minutes door -> gate from my work to the park: 15 miles -- all highway, early lunches at the park.

40 minutes from SFoG
7 hours from Universal Studios Orlando
12 hours from Cedar Point (driving it 3 times there and back)

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
I live 30 minutes from Disney - 20 from Universal - 45 from cypress Gardens and 1 1/2 from Busch Gardens.

My favorite - Knoebels - 15 hrs if I am driving fast!

I'm about 90 miles from Adventureland (IA) but I frequent SFGAm more often. It's about 250 miles.

Seems like we could save a lot of unneccesary typing by changing the topic to "Where do you live?" ;) :-P

In any case, over the past 5 years I have lived in 4 places:

Boston, MA - 1.5 hrs. from SFNE

Princeton. NJ - 30 min from GAdv.

Vallejo, CA - 10 minutes from SFMW

Fort Worth, TX - 20 min. from SFoT

I guess I could say I'm a bit spoiled.

I live about 20 east of Ann Arbor Michigan

1hr 35 minutes to Cedar Point

I'm located just about an hour southwest of SFA, and an hour north of PKD. I'm not exactly centered between them (45 miles from SFA, 60 miles from PKD), but since I live right off I-95, drive time is about equal to both parks.
Lumpy and bcdzoom...you both live too close to me. 35 minutes from PKI, but 3 1/2 hours from Holiday World & CP, (they're my favorites). Lumpy, I never knew you were a buckeye?
