Last night, around 11pm here on the East Coast, my father, who shortly before this year's ACE Coaster Con was diagnosed with Metastatic Cancer, peacefully passed away with our family by his side.

Among his last wishes were.. for everyone who hasn't yet ridden Kingda Ka, to ride it.. since he never got the chance. The same goes for El Toro, The Voyage, and the coasters at Silverwood... which are some he never did and never will get the chance to ride.

Rest in Peace Dad, I love you.

Rob, I will follow your Dads wishes and continue the tradition.

I am trully sorry to hear of your loss.

I think it's been some three our four years since I've seen you. Keep in touch.

Chuck, who hopes Bob is taking the biggest rocket coaster of all :)

Oh Geez, Rob.... :( We only spent an evening hanging out at SRM 2003, but I really dug you, and your personality. This just breaks my heart.

Your family is firmly in our prayers. ALL OUR BEST. :(

Rob, I really missed you and your family at PPP and other events this year and wish we had the chance to hang out more. I'm so sad and sorry to hear about your dad and he seemed to love the hobby and seemed really supportive when I met him at PPP last year. Don't hesitate to contact me buddy if you need anything. I'm praying for you guys.

I am so sorry for you Rob, your dad was one of the truly fun people to be around. You would be going in the right direction if you were to follow in his footsteps. He brought so much joy to so many people.

My prayers are for your dad and with your family at this time. I know Bob and Steve are riding something great now.

Bob like Steve was not an old man, New Jersey has lost 2 very good young men this week. We are poorer for that.
