That's funny CP, I was thinking Demon Knight. Same idea though.

Sure wish we were talking about Holiday World though. :-/

The fact that they're getting totally nailed doesn't surprise me even a little bit.

Well, now that we've killed the News 25 website, and are somewhat overloading Coasterbuzz, hopefully not the same will happen to Holidayworld.com in a few mintues. ;)

lol....gravy is mentioned in the new link on HW's website

Thanksgiving is new new area, the coaster is called the Voyage, it will be 1.2 miles long, 24.2 seconds of airtime, 3 drops of over 100ft, 3 trains, 67.4 mph, 66* drop, five underground tunnels, eight underground passes (some tunnels are used twice),.

Other new attractions planned for 2006 include Bahari River in Splashin' Safari. The Thanksgiving section in will have a turkey-chase-themed interactive "dark ride," and another new ride (not named or described).

Three 28-person PTC trains. I was right there.

I was wrong about what 24.2 meant, whoever guessed airtime was right.

Wood-on-steel hybrid, no surprise there

173" tall, 6442" long -- I think that makes it the 3rd longest next to The Beast and Son Of Beast, right?

EIGHT tunnels? Wow. (Well, 5 tunnels, some traveled twice) *** Edited 7/13/2005 4:20:24 PM UTC by bit0mike***

Did anyone watch the video? OMFG! This thing looks absolutely godly. The return journey is absoultely ridiculous--like something from a RCT intensity contest. I am speechless.

TWO Hades-style 90 degree turns?

Triple-down?

OK, and there's gonna be a dark ride in the Thanksgiving section. Cool.

Me rikey.

And I'm only an hour from Holiday World.

I think I just heard a whimpering sound coming from the direction of Muskegon...

Being taller then Mean Streak though let us prey that the thing holds up better over time. Although it does look amazing I can't help but think about the roughness factor that may make an appearence in a few years. Although im not trying to shade this incredibly positive light with negative speculation, I'm just thinking. Hopefully the steel supports will help it hold up better. Anyone know if they would?

PS. I did'ent see who was making this Beast, maybe I just missed it. *** Edited 7/13/2005 4:32:16 PM UTC by Cypr3ss***

No further explanation needed. I'm hopelessly lost.

BTW it doesn't say who's building it, but based on the look and feel (and font) of the GD renderings it's pretty obviously Gravity Group.

Actually CoasterBuzz was doing just fine... I just ran some code on another site on the server that was not written quite right and got greedy. I'm such a moron to do that at a critical time.
