How dumb can people get???

That's assuming they have brains to leave at the gate in the first place.

Here's my own version of dumb and dumber from yesterday at Knoebels--

Dumb: the 7-8 year old kid who tried to crawl UNDER a lowered lapbar on an empty seat on Phoenix on a train that was about to dispatch.

Dumber: the kid's mother who was totally unaware her offspring had wandered out onto the ride platform and had no idea who the ride-op was referring to when he said "Get back!"

Well I guess some people just can't wait the extra 45 seconds it takes for that other train to come back to the station.

^CpGenius & Jeremy,

This just makes you wonder WHAT they are teaching in elementary schools nowadays. ;-)

This came from a neighbor's kid recently. She's 18 or 19 years old.......

"Yeah we are going to Hawaii. By the way do they accept American money?"

Soooooo glad i'm homeschooled.

You can't judge a book by it's cover but you can judge a coaster by the screams

You wouldn't believe the number of people who think that a 1/4 hour wait means 25 minutes. Seriously, it's just sad.

Yes, people do indeed leave their brains at the gate.

so you mean 1 + 1 doesn't equal 3???????

How dumb can people get? sometimes very.
This happened to me last winter.
we'd finished skiing and went to Wendy's to eat.
We've got our skis on a rack on the roof of the car, and it's snowing.
This lady pulls up next to us and says: oh, you guys are skiers.
the kids and I say: yes, do you ski?
she says no and ends with this: I've heard skis are expensive, don't you think you should cover them so they don't get snow on them.

That was scarey...

Here's another one:
Go to an Aunt Annies pretzel place (found in most malls)and ask for 3/4of a dozen pretzels.
The two workers looked at each other and ask me:That's 15, right?

Here's my latest contribution:

This past Saturday, I was at HP standing in line for Lightning Racer. As usual, you could walk right up to the platform and just wait a few rides to get on.

I wasn't quite close enough to get into an actual queue on the Lightning side, but I noticed that the last train had dispatched some time ago and nothing had returned to the station. There were enough people in the queue to keep me from seeing whether the second train was in storage.

So just to make conversation I turned to the teenager next to me and said "Guess they're only running a single train tonight" The kid's response, pointing to the Thunder side of the platform "No, they have another one over on that side."

(And THAT'S what makes it a racer, kid.)

He would be technically correct if both the lightning and thunder tracks somehow connected.... So the kid is technically wrong.

Why do guests always exit a coaster on the same side they entered it? Maybe it's just a Kentucky thing....

True Moosh, I guess they could have just let people run around the Thunder side. And it probably wouldn't have made a difference-- Lightning was clobbering the hell out of Thunder the whole time I was there. Like not even close.
