How dumb can people get???

I saw this on Screamscape and it just makes you wonder sometimes WTF are people thinking.

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/local/news-article.aspx?storyid=39952

The girl went "missing" from Wild Adventures in Ga and then ended up at the boyfriend's house the next day in Florida where he was having a candlelight vigil for her before police showed up.

This is just stupidity and having no common sense after hearing about all the recent disappearances of people and having them not being found.

Its called a cry for attention.
True that Moosh, it just torks me off when you hear about that girl in Aruba missing and hasn't been found and then there was a 5 yr old missing here in Iowa that was just found dead yesterday and then something like this goes and happens.

You just want to smack em upside the head sometimes and say "WTF are you thinking"

ok I am done raving now.

<---back to happy guy now : )

Of course, the investigations wastes a lot of public money and distracts the police from other needed duties, which is why faking a disapperance is a crime.
And it doesn't even look like this one was about to get married.
I got a chuckle out of it. More for their stupidity, of course.

unfortunately, People get get way more stupid than this...

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

Yea, like a guest at SFKK calling Greezed Lightnin' Deja Vu. Or referring to Twisted Twins as Dueling Dragons. (I'm not joking here, I've heard it before)

As dumb as not being able to buckle a seat belt. Think i'm kidding? Work at any amusement park for a summer. You'll see.

"Sometimes I just kill myself!" - The Joker

What??? Calling a coaster by it's wrong name isn't even in the same ballpark as what this girl did. Thinking such is more idiotic than park guests getting coasters confused.

Coasterman Mike, I think that just stems from most people checking their brains at the front gate. "Oh? You mean I'm still required to perform basic motor skills?" ;)

Yeah is Good!
Just remember, when you ask a question like how dumb can people get, consider the warnings found on some products:

On a smoke detector: Will not extinguish a fire
On a fishing lure: Harmful if swallowed
On a Superman costume: Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly
On a digital thermometer: Once used rectally, the thermometer should not be used orally

...to name a few.

I hate stupid people.

To answer your original question, GP can get very dumb.
Frank Zappa said it best:

"Some Scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe."

^^ Enthusiasts can get even dumber.

I don't understand why they did it or why they thought it was fun. Wild Adventures isn't THAT boring. ;-)

Believe it or not, things like this happen everyday. It's just in this particular case, it involved an amusement park.

Mc Donalds coffee cups warning about hot contents inside! DUH!

Kids must be so bored nowadays. I guess underage drinking and skipping school is no fun anymore. Let's screw with the police and fake a disappearance!
