Check these out. Photos straight from the B&M manufacturing plant. Parts have been made and have shipping labels proudly stating WOF as the customer.

I think the name "Patriot" will fit really well with this paint scheme. Now comes the question...is this inverted track?

Neat. That park really has changed since I left Kansas City the year before Mamba was built.

Down is the new up.

It's kinda funny to what extent we will go through to uncover plans in this industry. This must be track and supports for the "Patriot".

Do you remember the good old days when there wasn't an internet and we had to wait until the brochures came out to know what was new for the next season. :) LOL, man that seems like forever ago. With the technology and connections today, it is impossible to keep things a secret.

Here is the "patriot" coaster everyone is talking about.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

SWEET!!!!! Where do I sign up for Media Day???

Do we know what type of coaster this track is for? Suspended...floorless...dive machine....??? *** Edited 7/7/2005 4:48:29 AM UTC by SVLFever***

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

The Track does kinda look like an Invert. If it is that shows that the Inverts are the one B&M coasters that never ever fade. Although Floorless coasters are still catching on.

Looking at those pictures, I'm about 90% sure this will be an invert- and not just because most of the pieces happen to be lying that way! Seriously, the way the curve is shaped leading in/out of the raised spine area(brake run~) is very telling.

I'm going for flying. Just a hunch.

Actually, yea it could also be flying too. Let's just say the cars will(well again 90% sure) ride beneath the track.

^Yep. Hmmm, now where is CO? I want him to celebrate with me...maybe start a WOF vs. VF debate or something to that effect. :)

Yeah, it's been too long since we've had a WOF vs VF thread.

Time for you two to have a go at it! :)

Getting back to the "is it an inverted or flying" question. The only way you can really tell is the supports. It is definitely track that will support a coaster UNDER it, and from the reports that I have heard -- that's inverted track.

Ground work started today as well and I hope to have pics of that from my trip tomorrow up by this weekend sometime.

Joe - CO would say something to the effect that he had an inverted coaster (Steel Venom) first. I bet they get one soon as VF really does need a quality coaster in their line up.
