Thunder Canyon Closed? CP Construction?

I heard from sources at the point that Thunder Canyon is closed today and construction cranes can be seen around the area..

They could be working on the ride... best guess.

Or... gasp... putting more boats on the ride.

Oh, right and don't forget about the cranes when TTD's cable needs replacing

Especially going into the summer now with schools getting out and such, I'd bet on thema dding more boats.

where exactly are these cranes, and how big are they?

Who knows? Who cares? Get a life! The park has a few cranes, and they lift stuff, not the least of which is ride vehicles.

The cranes were for white water landing. One of the pumps were being replaced. Thunder canyon was open today.

No, they needed a helicopter for woodstock express. You know, sorta like how they did with Jr. Gemini.

Um... Thunder Canyon was definately running today when I drove past it.

yea they were just replacing a pump, i saw a picture of the pump being unloaded by MS. interesting, some people though TC was gonna go to make way for a new ride, i guess not..why else would they pay for a new pump

Actualy the pump was for white water landing, not thunder canyon.
