Cal I also heard that they are wanting to get the concert series back again. At least they want to have it available for Christain performers during the Christian Youth Weekends that they have planned.

Steel Eel, Mamba, Steel Force, all got NAILED...Steel Eel probably DID the most after the midcourse, but that's the one I caught as part of an event, so it's hard to tell. Man, if they let those things RUN free, they'd be almost as good as an RoS (just with worse trains)...
Missed this from earlier, but I dont think the Steel Eel ride you got was a fluke. I rode it during a non-event (though I later found out they had an event that nite), fairly early in the day. And it wasnt until then that I really understood what "Sweet Morgan Air" (TM) was all about. That right there is a really fine coaster. Good float all around.
Now Phantom's revenge OTOH, I dont quite know *what* to call the airtime on that ride...but I'm sure "Sweet" is NOT the proper adjective

Thanks for the update on OE's old station. I knew that it was a haunted maze for Halloweekends, I just didn't know that decided to make that permanent.
That footprint of land that OE sat on is still decent 'advertising' space for a coaster, but, a "Patriot" would make more sense in America...
I suppose the more I think about it, there are already two coasters visible from the interstate. Any thoughts on a potential layout of where this coaster would go???
SVLFever - Lore is the premier attraction during Haunt and is really good. The finale actually makes the downtown haunts "special effects" look lame.
As far as seeing coasters from I-435, you can see all of them. Boomerang's lifts stick out like a sore thumb. You can see Spinning Dragon's top part. Of course you can see Mamba and Timberwolf clearly. Also if you look hard enough, you can even see Wacky Worm.
That's a skinny long rectangular piece of land, but an ideal place for a coaster....especially a rocket....
The Skyscraper itself is up and in place, but some repaving, queues and a fence around the WT turn area (which was once part of the parking lot) still need to be done.

Actually, there's a few shots of it at the VF website.
CBaby was royally POed to see it...from ages 3 to 5, every visit began with me carrying her thru the motorcycle lot so she could wave at WT riders.
Think the PKI flyer fans were mad? Think again.
