I think the dude was claiming MiA was supposed to get a Morgan hyper in '04 but that was cancelled due to sewer issues. It is interesting that they seemed to make the progress on the sewer issues the month before The Patriot was trademarked, but I still think it is a WoF ride.

The former owner / father of the park's current GM talked about it before selling the park to CF and the enthusiast sniffling about it has never ended.

In reality, the park gets about a half-million visitors a year. A $5 million MiA cap budget is like $10 million (translation: Morgan hyper, PT, Intamin Impulse) at a park that draws 900,000 (WoF) or 1 million (VF) visitors a year. Long story short: It...ain't...happening.

Maybe when they drew 3/4 million or so a year, but otherwise?

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

I think that VF should build a coaster in the back of the park. Near and over the river. That would be awesome. But i'm not even sure if they own that or not. Do they??

i'm not sure what to put here..

As far as I know from working at VF, the land down by the river is mostly owned by the State of Minnesota (the DNR). Its also all a floodplain and will flood in the spring if we ever get snow in MN again.

I would hardly count sd is a replacement for orient express. I agree with Moosh as well on this, "The Patriot" is going to WOF.

Call me naive, but what is "The Patriot"?

The above is my opinion and my opinion alone. If I have offended you in any way please note that this was most likely unintentional and I will not apologize for stating what I believe.

The Patriot is a name trademarked by Cedar Fair in November for a new major ride.

Summer Spectactular is gone this year. The theater is going to start being gutted evetually. Cant really say more. I might have more on WOF soon.

Cal, just because you work as a sweep this year doesn't mean that you are now "all-knowing" about WOF's future. You blew your credibility on here a long time ago, playing the "I know something you don't know" won't help your image here anymore than it did over at Jeff Mast's site.

Where did this MiA stuff come from? Link anyone? I need a good laugh. I sure hope it did not come from SwillNetwork.

Cal, it is no secret that there are plans to tear the Forum out. There have been plans ever since they stopped having the summer concert series. I'm actually surprised that they did not remove the screen during the off season as it would have been a lot easier than once the park opens. As far as I know there are two areas that have been looked at for the inverted (1)Where Orient Express was (2) Where the Forum is currently. I honestly put my money on where the Forum is, mainly because that would make the most logical sense and it would help make sense to the placement of Coasters Drive-In (which is in Africa right now). It would also help the "Cedar Point" themed section of the park have more rides. :)

'Playa, I'm pretty sure he has to sweep everywhere, but his favorite place is around the Lemon Chill Cart.

Oh, excuse me. For those who are not overly familiar with WOF (and it's history), the Forum was renamed Heart of America Theatre. It is located adjacent to Mamba and is located between Coasters Drive-In and Camp Snoopy. Officially it is now located in the Americana section of the park, but was originally in the Europa section of the park (hence the original name). It is a large amphitheatre that used to be host to big names during the summer concert series that Hunt Midwest had when they controlled the park. They were cancelled once CF:LP took over.

I don't know Dustijn. I think the the CF have a coaster near the gate strategy the OE lot makes more sense. Coasters has been left out to dry in Africa for how many years now ;)? It will really be interesting to see what happens in the coming months.

Oh and sense wof is getting cabins now, they are due for a coaster ;)
