Valleyfair! 2006- Floorless or Inverted?

I say flip a coin! Head - Forum, Tails - Express lot. ;)

I want a B&M inverted(Raptor,Talon,or SB clone) coaster not a floorless. I can ride an inverted all day.
Why can't we have an original layout?
Cuz the last two coasters were clones? I dunno!

But I must say those are probably the last B&Ms on earth I'd want a clone of. Not that they suck, but if you must clone...a lil' higher on the food chain, please. Thanks.

Everything I say is false, even this sentence.

I really like SB and Talon.....they don't match the good ol' B:TRs for intensity, but they're VERY fun and re-rideable. Cloning Montu would eat up alot of the construction budget in the earth-moving process...

Of the floorlesses, the only one I felt was WORTH cloning was S:KC, and that's not exactly *clone-able*...;)

My advice: Get an invert! :)

Why would WOF put another major coaster right next to their other major coasters? I'm interested in knowing the logic behind making the Forum area a candidate for a major coaster.

Seems to me the best place would be the OE lot to "balance" the look of the park and the crowds. Besides, the forum lot should be reserved for their own Delirium/MaXair in 2007. (Wishful Thinking)

You have to remember that 2006 is Valleyfair!'s 30th anniversary.

Also, can anyone explain to me the possible reasons why Valleyfair! doesn't have there 2005 park map up yet?

You have to remember that anniversaries at parks doesn't always mean a great new coaster, or something major. Don't hint at something major just because it is a park's anniversary, that has never meant anything to most all parks. Heck it won't even be a real milestone, like 25 or 50 years, so why would we expect anything for 30, theres nothing signifigant about that number.

As for your question vf, use your own brain for that one. Doesn't take a genious to understand why there would be no park map yet for a park that, *gasp*, isn't open yet!

For sure! Remember how cool the additions were for the 25th anniversary?

Oops, nevermind.

LOL Nate! Good one ;)
Hey! Those big foam numbers RAWKED.
rgw: Youve just gotten used to rolling out of bed and pissing on a B&M year-round. You cant even appreciate the floorless masterpiece *right there* in Kraken. I still believe that is the most masterfully engineered coaster I've seen.

BTW: How did *you* get so big?

Dan,

Cedar Point, Dorney Park, Michigan's Adventure, Geauga Lake, and Worlds of Fun ALL have their 2005 park maps up, and not one of them is open yet.

I used my brain, and every single park website I have looked at has their 2005 park map up. So in future when making sarcastic comments, check your information first.

So does anyone have any clue why this could be?

Mabye they're planning something that no one knows about and they are going to wait to unvail it to the public. (end sarcasm)

:)

i'm not sure what to put here..

CostaPlayer mouthed: Cuz the last two coasters were clones?
You know I was addressing that towards twj, and don't be hatin' your last two new coasters are clones as well.

Because they want to eventually expand towards Worlds of Fun Avenue and they want to take out the Forum. Also they would not be directly next to each other as the new coaster would have its entrance on Forum Road and Mamba is over in Africa. Also the most logical place for a maXair clone would be where Bamboozler is. That is a high profile ride location with a very LOW profile ride.

WoF opens Saturday, and remember that each park operates their own site. Perhaps all of the other parks are on the ball?
Yeah--but our last clone was a big-a$$ clone. The last clone ride before that was pretty tall, too.

And maybe it's just me, but I'd call one to two hundred thousand more BUTTS in the park a year on a shorter operating season 'on the ball,' ya know? Cuz the ball is all about ka-ching, not a web page.

So if you must hate? Yeah.

Swoosh-
just leave it alone, he'll just come back a month later and edit his post (once they announce) and make it look like he was right all along...

:)

Here's a better idea...how bout I lose an argument so totally and completely that I delete everything I said, close my CBuzz account and go wailing about 'politics' on this site to other folks?

Until I go on a trip or something. Then I'll pretend I never said anything and come back.

Some people never learn, do they? Pretend you don't know and don't care again, son.

For the record? I didn't change or rewrite one word I originally wrote. I only added a clearly-labeled postscript.

Now Swoosh, where were we?

-Uncle Daddy to some people here.

PRECISELY, j....you get SO accustomed to that SAME layout, you can close your eyes and anticipate every curve...even in the back row I find most of the Beemers powerless against my need for adrenaline. An interesting layout is what at leaves gives me something to go back for, hence my undying praise of TG:TJC, S:KC, Fire Dragon. For me, the majority of Beemers are just TOO engineered...but the NEW Beemer opening SOON, that one gives me hope! :)

Of course, SWO *is* a Busch park, so I can always go back to SWO for *food and beverage*...;)

Nice segue...got big by eatin'....haven't done a lick of exercise since the house caved in last September, LOL. But, meeting with the GC tomorrow and should get a tentaive move-in date...:)

What did I eat....what DIDN'T I eat? :)

edit: BACK to topic, LOL.....inverts are simply higher up on the food chain....quick, name a park that has a floorless that DOESN'T have an invert of any kind? I'm taking SFFT! Any others?
