I find the whole thing facinating. A completed (large!!!) coaster that never ran due to not having the electronics installed.

Well I don't know. I just purchased a $40,000 car, but am waiting until I can afford the few hundred dollars for the ignition and battery ;)

Maybe that's why the park no longer exists.

I don't think anyone has mentioned Sheikra as a coaster that goes under water. Well I guess it doesn't right now, but it will soon.

Would Sheikra be a female coaster, or does it just sound like a girl's name to me?

How many coasters (wood or steel) have a drop during the course that is longer than the first drop? Name em.

How many coasters have an ending drop longer than the first (I can think of one really easy here)? Name em.

Here are some good ones...Check below for the answers.

1. What was the first theme park?

Hint-It was built in the 1800's. It also had something in common with the Sea World Parks.

2. What is the only triple corkscrew coaster in the world by Arrow?

Hint-Not at Cedar Point.

3. What was the tallest coaster ever built before 1979?

Hint-It shares the name with two coasters that currently operate.

4. Which amusement park did country singer Ronnie Milsap once own?

Hint-It is rising from obscurity to become a major player once again?

5. Which coaster came required 3-D glasses for riders to experience the special effects of the ride.

Hint-This coaster was last seen at a park in Indiana...but never operated there.

Answers:

1. Sea Lion Park at Coney Island in New York had marine life theming and it opened in the late 1800's. It is the first park documented to have theming.

2. The Fantasia Special at Tongdo Fantasia in South Korea is the only Arrow coaster to have three corkscrew inversions. The extra corkscrew makes the ride more intense than other Arrow loopers.

3. Blue Streak at Wycliffe Pleasure Park in New York was considered the tallest coaster ever until the Beast at PKI opened.

4. Beech Bend in Bowling Green, KY.

5. Chaos, which came from the defunct Opryland park. It was moved to a field in Indiana.

As for SheikRa being a female, it isn't... It's an African hawk known for diving straight down at its prey...

But then again, what do I know?

How many coasters have an ending drop longer than the first (I can think of one really easy here)? Name em.
BBW
Dive to Atlantis
Cyclops (I think)
Beast
Dodonpa
All the Intamin Impulse coasters
How many coasters (wood or steel) have a drop during the course that is longer than the first drop? Name em.
(I am assuming you are not including tiny pre-lift drops.)
All the ones listed above.
All the Galaxy coasters.
PR
Both Mr. Freezes
Not sure if you want to count stuff like Mantis and Tennessee Tornado
If a loop counts as a drop (I think it should) then all the shuttle loopers.
Here are some that I am pretty sure about but not 100%:
Both Timberland Twisters
Tig'rr

Superman @SFA & SFDL both have a 2nd drop of 143 ft while the 3rd hill is much smaller so how can they qualify for having a drop (post main drop) that's taller?

As for coasters with seperate load/unload stations how can anyone forget FOF @PKI & PKD? that one should've been a no brainer.

Another coaster with the longest drop as its' last is the mine train at SFStL. I bet there are other mine trains like this also.

The second drop on Screamin Eagle is longer than the first too I believe, due to terrain.
