COASTER Trivia 2005

Other than Chippewa Lake?

There is still at least one more single train coaster with an inversion.

Zamperla Flying Coaster

Watch the tram car please....
Nope, nor can I name the one with Morgan trains. I just couldn't think of any wooden trains built by Morgan or Arrow, and I think I've read about Morgan trains on a woody before. Arrow was purely process of elimination as Intamin, S&S, and Vekoma have all ventured into wooden territory... So where have we seen Morgan or Arrow trains? Oh wait, there's a Morgan on JackRabbit at Seabreeze, right around the corner from my house... Wow, I'm ignorant today. Anyway, Arrow?

But then again, what do I know?

Add one more to the list -- Premier made the trains for Son of Beast but they have never built a wooden coaster.

I'm curious to see what wooden coaster had Arrow trains?

Good call, ColumbusCoaster... Didn't even think of that one... Anyone have any idea what woody had Arrow built trains? I'm picturing their "Corvette" looking trains on a woody and it's kinda funny.

But then again, what do I know?

Coaster w/ a lift hill that riders never ride?

Dejavu :)

Back in the 70s the SCBB Giant Dipper ran with Arrow rolling stock.

Here's one [this is probably pretty easy, tho]:

What coaster has one lift but two lift chains?

I know you were probably thinking of Steel Dragon 2000, but Dragon Mountain at Marineland also uses two chains on one lift. You can see where they switch in this photo.

Thanks, Jeffrey...that's a new item of trivia for me ;)
One more single car coaster with an inversion out there.

Lets get some other questions from people. Anything!! :)

i'm not sure what to put here..

Are you talking about an existing coaster Corkscrewy?

I know that a lot, if not all, of the first loopers had single car trains. I'm talking turn of the century rides like the Flip-Flap Railway and such.

What Six Flags coaster(s) have been at the most Six Flags parks?
I can think of two that have been in three SF parks:

Shockwave - SFGAd
Shockwave - SFMM
Batman the Escape - AstroWorld

Sarajevo Bobsled - SFGAd
Rolling Thunder - SFGAm
Alpine Bobsled - TGE

I guess this could also count, but at SFMM it spends more time as sculpture and not much time as an operating coaster.

Z-Force - SFGAm
Z-Force - SFOG
Flashback - SFMM

Also...

Tidal Wave - SFGAM > Viper - SFOG > Greezed Lightnin' - SFKK

and

Starchaser - SFKK > Nightmare At Phantom Cave - SFDL > Nightmare At Crack Axle Canyon - Great Escape (plus this coaster was relocated to SFKK from a non-SF park)

I am sure there is at least one more. I'll give you a hint. Its in the Six Flags closest to where I live.

I'm supposed to be writing a report right now. I'm still in school.. oh well! :) Don't learn anything up here anyway ;)

i'm not sure what to put here..

lol i think i named it but you missed it earlier.... it's the Zamperla Volare or Zamperla Flying Coaster.

Watch the tram car please....

Technically, Starchaser left KK three years before the park got flagged. And I'm pretty sure it left Darien one year before that park got flagged too.

I looked it up and pretty sure its the Zamperla Flying Coaster...(listed as "The Flying Coaster" on the site)
:)... Haha.. sorry, guess I did miss it. Someone else post a question. I'm not very good at it ;)

i'm not sure what to put here..
