Looking at the webcam, they just put the last track piece into place and making the circuit of hills, turns and rolls complete.

There will be a better view of it tomorrow when it's daylight again...

SFGAdv lover, Kanonen's construction was startingly quick. I know it's only a short ride, but I am still amazed quite how quickly it went up.

Is it just me or is the video, from the link invy provided, Xcelerator from Knotts? The Kanonen video on the website is Xcelerator for some reason. *** Edited 1/21/2005 12:35:34 AM UTC by cyber_demon***

Yes the entire thing is Xcelerator. Which surprises me, because it is a fair amount different then Kanonen.

I like disco.

The pic in Olov's first post is updated every minute. It's going to be a few hours still before it's bright in here. *** Edited 1/21/2005 6:49:22 AM UTC by Drift***

What's the bunny hop like between the top hat and vertical loop? Doesn't look like there's much space to play with in that respect looking at the webcam. Are there any other construction pictures anywhere?

Well that's where the killer brakes are located... :(
(Not a small trim brake)
So I expect a little less from it now than a few days ago when it looked like the train would speed along the track at a good pace without any interupts.

OK...maybe I'm dense but the pics in both links that Olov provided look EXACTLY the same as they did yesterday. And the link Tekno provided doesn't work at all.

Someone, PLEASE...a proper link to the LIVE webcam would be nice.

Moosh, I checked it this morning and it was different, but the sun glare from the sun going down was so bad I couldn't see any better than the nighttime picture. Remember they're effectively the exact opposite time as most of the US. The good afternoon pics seem like they'd be at like 3-4am EST.

Our daylight isn't so long these months so you only have limited time to actually see something. Sun is up about 9am and down 4pm (local times).

So, Olov, there are brakes instead of an airtime hill? Or there are brakes on an airtime hill?
