Shivering Timbers Moosh?

Chuck, who knows HW doesn't clone anything but could be the ones to TOP IT!

If I know Moosh, he's probably thinking more along the lines of Tremors... Hmm! :)

Moosh has a lot of tremors...they come with old age... ;) (sorry, Moosh - I couldn't pass that lob shot up...)

Bring on the wood coaster! Didn't expect that kind of comment from me, eh?

But pretty much anything Moosh suggested makes sense. Except the Top Spin. For some strange reason, I just can't see that ride at HW.

Timber Terror provided *everything* that Timbers did, and then some....but that wouldn't fit in Roundhouse's site either...

Personally, I could skip on the teacups/paratrooper ideas, but that doesn't mean SOME people might not enjoy them...

bill, thinking the site MIGHT be large enough for me to have a cottage during hurricane season...:)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Too bad most of the hurricane season takes place when Holiday World is closed for the season!

ERT @ Bill's Place! If the park is empty, I'm sure the Kochs won't mind, will they, Paula?;)

Two out of three, 'Gator. That's pretty good!

(And I'm not talking about hurricanes.)

But this is a family-oriented site, Redman! ;-)

Allright......

THIS is the most insane, the most SICK flat ride I have ever been on (that I enjoyed). Huss sweetness.

Two out of three, Paula?

Guess that means I *am* getting my cottage on RoundHouse's former site...SWEET! :)

Actually, what Paula's probably *really* referring to is another train on Raven AND a waterpark addition...

Now, about that flat ride....;)

But what I really wanna know is if I could turn the Roundhouse upside down and use it to cover that GIGANTIC new hole in my roof, LOL...

So, Paula, do you know when the announcement might come along? I know you guys must still be in negotiations and planning

I'm not expecting a big woodie at least until 2006 or later but in case you are planning another one for the future you MUST top Hades so that I have a reason to move into (live in) the park. :-) BTW I found out that the big drop on Hades will be 66 degrees which without question is the steepest woodie in North America (Balder has the world's steepness record @ 70 degrees). Two manditory records for a third woodie @ HW is the steepest drop (try for 72 degrees) and the most total airtime (outdo Shivering Timbers 30+ seconds of airtime). Add a few tunnels, use a steel structure, make sure every hill has airtime in every seat, use douglas fir in the track instead of Southern Yellow Pine and than you will have the greatest possible thing on the planet besides a Pink Floyd concert!!

In case you didn't get it, Records mean squat as far as quality and HW is more than aware of that.

Chuck, who thinks they hold the record for friendlyness though :)

No! Not mandatory. Would be nice, but not mandatory.

...and the most total airtime (outdo Shivering Timbers 30+ seconds of airtime).

...again, not mandatory...

Add a few tunnels...

I'll agree with that, but if they don't thats fine.

...use a steel structure...

No! No! NO!!!!!

Steel structure? Why? Seems to me that most parks that know wood coasters build 'em out of wood and wood alone. Knoebels, HW, Silverwood...

That's true Rob the only exception to that list is unless they don't have much land...case in point, Indiana Beach.

Now space isn't and issue at HW, so all wood is the way to go for them, IMHO.

Hades is using a steel structure. So does Avalanche.
