That only happens in Kentuky and Japan.

Doesn't the trough at the top of the lift curl downward as to not create more friction, and possible wear?

The way the story sound to me is that a ride op says that the lift "broke", which could be taken as the chain broke. Personally I dont give damn, as long as the ride is still in the park.

The position the train was in seemed a little higher than it would be if it were to be stored there, the front car's nose was at the level of the midcourse brake.

When I first told you that that's how the trains are stored you told me I was wrong and they were stored in the sheds overnight, but now you're saying it was too high? How would you know if you didn't even know how they're stored in the first place?

I guessed! It just doesn't seem it would be that high if it was there intentionally.

And OrientExpress, I didn't even know about PKIXtreme.tk until AFTER my site launched.

I wouldn't waste my time, but thanks for offering!

And it made more of a "TUNG!" sound.

Geez, am I the only one here who remembers the Chang story?

Start here...

...Then go here...

...then look here for the ironic conclusion. Press day for Chang was April 4, 1997.

I guess so, Dave.

So let me get this straight. You're upset that he stole your layout, but you admit that you stole your layout too? Sometimes I'm amazed at the things people admit on here.

No. That's the sound of a coater sucking.

I know I'm late to the party, but I had to get my HAs in... ;)

In terms of the description of the sound, I think Click and Clack could have offered their 2 cents.

I just rode Chang for the first time yesterday, and I thought it was actually a good coaster. Smooth, intense, and great inversion lineup, Andy:).

Why do you say that? I don't see anything anybody has said that wasn't nice on this thread. The closest thing was Andy stating his opinion that Chang Sucked, which I happen to disagree with.

I've never actually been to SFKK, but if it's anything like Mantis, it has two possible outcomes:

Trim on - Boooorrrrring. Wake me up when it's over.

Trim off - Holy crap, I will never walk again.

Neither especially fun.

If it's like Scorcher on the other hand, I can't wait to ride.

I think Chang is more like Riddler than Mantis. To me, Mantis has one of those crammed in ending elements, just like Iron Wolf, which are horrible on stand-ups. I don't recal Chang having that, and I know that Riddler doesnt have it since it is spread across the back of the park.
