Six Flags St. Louis Savin for Hyper or Giga Coaste

Well, since i live in the area of SFSL, im getting anxious to see what they will build next. since they have never really had an excellent coaster here, the boss was decent, mr freeze was a headache and a half, me and my friends are hoping they are saving for a hyper or a giga coaster. they need it. the park is dying. a coaster like goliath or titan would boost the parks ratings to what it once was. im praying.

SFStL is also my home park, and I don't really want a Gio. I would much rather have a B&M, or Intamin.

Every park should have a hyper! They are high capacity and have lots of speed. I'm sure there is one on the boards for SFStL for the future, as well as SFWOA, SFOG and SFMW. Six Flags seems to want one in all their parks. Whoever is chosen to design it is really luck of the draw I guess.

yeah and stl deserves it, it was one of the original sf's not a new one they just bought.

I think SFStL deserves one the most. They have plenty of room and they are the most beautiful SF park in the country.

I just hope they dont clone SFNE SROS. That's the only coaster that makes the park popular around the country and the if a more popular Six Flags park got one, SFNE would just be a small, worthless SF park.

im going for a goliath or titan clone.

With the recent squabbles with Six Flags and Intamin, I think that more Giovanolas will appear in Six Flags parks. A Gio is just as good as an Intamin and 10x more intense than a B&M.

If anything, SFEG should get a hyper or giga before anyone else. They deserve it.

As far as I could tell, the publics reaction to the Boss was amazing. Anybody that says the park is dying has no idea what they are talking about. The Boss is a masterpiece, and so is the rest of the park.

Truly. I can guarantee without even being to many SF parks that this is the most beautiful SF park in the nation. I had fun on each and every ride (except for the hunk of crap they call Batman). The mine train was the best I have ever ridden. Mr. Freeze was simply amazing and I did not get head bashed at all. Screamin Eagle reminded me of a maxed out Big Dipper from the weird entrance, weird que, great ops, and awesome out and back ride. The BOSS........ the greatest wooden coaster I have ever been on. Height does matter after you take a spin on The BOSS. I truly wish the best for this park in Eureka, its a keeper. What was even funnier is that I realized I would be heading off to St. Louis an hour before I left. I didn't prepare myself for such a great park. I encourage everyone to go to SFStL!

The hunk of crap they call Batman? So far, you're the only person that I've ever heard call a B&M that...personally, I love Batman, and I think it's much better than Raptor was, and yes, I know I'm the minority here. So if you consider a great, smooth, intense B&M coaster a hunk of crap, what do you consider good?

A hyper would be nice, or floorless, or a 4D, or a liquid coaster, or a TA2K, or a ....
Some more flat rides would be a welcomed addition also.
This is all just IMHO.

i thought the batman was a good smooth ride, i would hardly call it crap. i agree with it being the most beautiful park, it is nice, it just needs a good, new steel hyper.

What they need to do is add more flat rides. I think that there are maybe 5 spin and spue rides at the park, compared to most that is low. I will agree with the park being beautiful...they work very hard on landscaping there. IMHO the hyper should be their next project, perhaps capitalizing on the natural terrain BEHIND Screamin' Eagle...don't care where the station would go, just I think using land beyond the Eagel will save space for future expansions beyond Tidal Wave.

I agree Dustijn, that would be a great area for a hyper. I think the station could go right past the Tidal Wave...that area is strange, the path just abruptly ends right by Tidal Wave. The hills would make a spectacular backdrop for a hyper, and would probably provide some surprises.
