Yup...great pix of the custom model. I was just hoping to see some CB member creations (since I'm poor and it will be a while before I can afford my own kit).

By the way, is this too small to allow my Star Wars action figures to go for a ride? ;)

Mine is running pretty consistently. For some reason my train was especially picky the first couple of runs and wouldn't complete the circuit. But after "working it" a bit it just kept getting faster and faster. I've got some ideas for the next model I want to build, but I should really be doing other things first.

Thanks for the feedback, Jeff. The trains do "break-in", some more than others. Also, temperature can affect the performance (just like the real ones) with faster runs achieved in warmer environments. Most of the feedback we have received on our site is very encouraging. I know $500 is a tough sell, but you really need to see it in person to appreciate the scale and scope of the model. I'm sure those who have built it would agree.
