Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Nobody mentioned Sky Princess' flat helix ending :)
I love Legends helix, Just when you think it's over it gets even more powerful and flattens out. I don't know why it hurts more with the PTC's Probably because only the upper body is getting the full force instead of full body. I did not get rib bruising like that with the G trains. Either way, I still love it.
Papa Beast helix has gotten so friggin rough I can't enjoy it anymore. I don't think it's the track either but the trains. These trains are wore out! The trains bounce, All through the midcourse and second part of the helix. Bouncing latterals are not good.
Chuck, who is one of the few who find SOB much smoother than Papa.
TCKR, if Texas Giant has really *fallen off*, I didn't see ANY evidence. Can't say I really thought of that track section as a helix per se, but that coaster had NO problem finding its way into my Top 10 wood. Honestly, the first thing I said after riding was "Now THAT is what CP could've gotten instead of Mean Streak."....WOW! Sure hope the flooding damage was minimal....
I'll probably never get White Cyclone, but I got *plenty* of rides on Timber Terror during what stands as my best wooden event ever (for rides), Coaster Alley Convergence. Kevin C., if you're out there, thanks again, I was BLOWN away. "Not quite a helix" Pt. 2) ;), but the *four corners of death* in the middle of Tremors was another religious experience situation...total bliss. :)
Andy, I honestly LOVE heavily-banked helices, but I'm unusual in that I am a HUGE fan of high positive-G trackwork....hence my affection for the Giovanolas...;)
You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)
