Kali River Rapids at AK

You are bound to get wet, at the top of the lift there is a huge (and I mean huge) gysier (sp) that your boat litterally goes over, you gaurenteed drenched long before the drop.

Gator - in "Land of the Lost" there was a big earthquake and the family [father, son, and daughter] fell down a giant waterfall into that lost land. They had a pet dinosaur as well as a good Sleestack.

I'm sure a quick internet search can settle this once and for all...and I think we'll find it's two different shows.

I believe mOOSH is correct, it was two different shows, as I think I remember both, but I think Land of the Lost came first.

A-ha!

Land Of The Lost

Valley Of The Dinosaurs

And check this out: my Aunt [original Mouseketeer Sharon Baird] was a cast member on Land of the Lost...something I did not know.

How cool is that?

Good Old Glump.....thanks Moosh, happy gator! :)

Also nice to know the *old-timer's* hasn't completely taken my brain functioning away....what WAS this thread about anyway? ;)

Oh yeah, Kali WAS good, just didn't think that much of the RIDE....for that, I'll go to IoA, or PKD...;)

Strange "twist of fate" moment...in addition to Moosh's aunt, another voice from LotL (which I don't recall AT ALL)....Timothy Bottoms! Only six degrees of separation between him, Kevin Bacon, and Young Man...;)

Timothy Bottoms also played G-Dub in "That's My Bush", which has apparently made a comeback of sorts, albeit at the prime 3am time slot.

Moosh where do you plan on traveling to this coming season?
Mamoosh's avatar
Jan - ACE No Coaster Con, Chicago
Feb - IBR, San Francisco
Oct - PPP

That's it for now...sad, eh?

Wow and I thought my travels for the coming year were pathetic. ;) I might end up out your way later on this year, but that is still pending - a lot depends on if I go to Hawaii or not.

Well there may be another trip or two still...just nothing planned yet.
I know the feeling. Other than Spring Break in March, everything else right now is "fly-by-wire".
