It's cheap for the park & great for business... and clears up a lotta clutter, that's for sure (how much can a paint job & new body parts cost vs. a whole new ride?)
Six Flags is cheap...
...but to keep from boning other parks, they could afford to do this. Hell, Shockwave has to go somewhere, right? Isn't there a coaster called Excalibur also in storage somewhere that was a part of Six Flags
The ProSlide Tornado is going to WW in Atlanta, which is NOT connected to the park....it is a separate waterpark.
The kids area at oG was pretty small and confined, I'm *hoping* that they'll spread the kiddie rides out a bit, maybe towards Gotham where there's nothing for the wee ones to do.
There are a few rides that could possibly be relocated from other parks this year:Python & what's left of sky escaper at SFA,SW from SFGRAM,as well as Ameri-go round & Jumpin jack flash from SFGRADV just to name a few...BTW where the heck is that thing going?
Sure they're removing it but they havn't said just yet wether it's gonna be scrapped or shipped off to another park yet.
I dont want to seem like a whiner so i think i'll join Dawgbyte in the corner and sulk a little........
Thanks for any help!
From the appearance alone, it seems to me that the main difference is in the seating *configuration*, but there could very easily be other differences as well....
Gravity Max, the Vekoma tilt coaster, that HAS been built, looks like a lot of fun to me, but is almost definitely a different concept.
IHP - think of it like a giant Zamperla Disk-O. The two pods of seats rotate as the car slides back and forth along the track.
VHS - cars would face the direction of travel. As they "stalled" at one of the ends of the "u" and reversed the car would turn 180* so riders were then facing the direction of travel [facing straight down]. Once the car reached the other end of the "u" the car would turn 180* again...and so forth.
Got it? ;)

I personally would love to see one of the HS coasters come to life; they look awesome and take up little space.
