But then again, what do I know?
Wounder what a flat would normaly run $$$$$$? SFI media site stated that the company would use the $75,000,000.00 on investing into all of the parks for the 2004 season + their ride routation program... *** Edited 1/8/2004 4:48:44 AM UTC by ACEAND1***
A Huss Frisbee XL and a Giant Top Spin would compliment the great coaster lineup that they have. Those two flats would place SFGAM in a new realm of thrills and truly above the other parks in the country-except Kings Island (for obvious reasons).

Awesome! Looks like the SF people are going all out this year as far as flats!
I am so happy to hear the sweet stuff coming to Great America. I love ALL those Reverchon miceys, as long as you fill the seat with as much weight as possible. :-)

What the heck is an Intamin Halfpipe? SFEG is getting it and I'd like to add it to my RCT recreation.
Someone didn't read the entre thread.

Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

The difference between Vekoma's Hammerhead Stall and Intamin's Half Pipe is this:IHP - think of it like a giant Zamperla Disk-O. The two pods of seats rotate as the car slides back and forth along the track.
VHS - cars would face the direction of travel. As they "stalled" at one of the ends of the "u" and reversed the car would turn 180* so riders were then facing the direction of travel [facing straight down]. Once the car reached the other end of the "u" the car would turn 180* again...and so forth.
Got it? ;)

Thanks Mooshie! That clears it up. I think I've actually heard this mentioned before but it was a while back. Sounds interesting. I was beginning to wonder how long it would take to see any of the coasters that the smaller parks overseas have on this side of the world. Kudos to Six Flags for the IHP. Sounds cool.

How sweet would it be to see a Tony Hawk themed stall? And no, I'm not a skater.
I'm thinking bitter. Tony hawk has become tacky in the way the media has idolized him. The only things with his name on them that are still *cool* are his video games.

If you were a skater, you'd know that.;)
