New at IB '04

Not meaning to nitpick, but I wouldn't really consider a Double Shot to be a flat ride. Considering that, it has been even longer since IB added a flat, although its probably a lot less time than the average SF park!

Ahhh cool, thanks dude. Those would fit in nicely at IB...although a top spin or another ride of that nature seems like it would be a little more exciting, but any new flat at IB is always neat, it's been a while since the last one, Double Shot.

It may seem that way, until you ride a good set of flying skooters and learn just how scary and exciting they can be. It is kind of difficult to explain, I think it is just something you have to experiance yourself.

True, ride and snap the Flyers at Knoebels or Kings Island and you're in for quite an exciting interactive experience. Lesourdsville Lake also has some good ones but the park is closed indefinitely you have to backwards snap (or "pans") them. I've been told PKD's are potentially some of the best but they won't let you "bounce their birdies".

I look forward to anything new at IB. It's a little piece of twisted amusement park heaven.

According to a recent IB officer meeting, the Flying Scooters will in fact come from Larson. The park is considering three different locations for the ride, all of which are over or near the water. IB does have some lake building room available which is not property of the SFLECC, a environmental protection non-profit organization. Most importantly, no rides are scheduled for removal, especially the Paratrooper.

Gotta save those paratroopers. They are indeed becoming more and more rare.

An excellent addition! Knowing the way IB runs their flats I suspect these will be quite snapable ;)

Well this is now confirmed by someone IN THE KNOW! not saying Buggle mouth isn't right LOL

The park is still looking in a couple areas of the park to put them with a possible location on the Pier used for the peddal boats behind Cornball and Hurricane.

Possible theme for the flyers is________________________ IB CROW!

Chuck, wishing you happy snappage!

It just amazes me that they came up with yet another reason for me to go back to the park next season. As if Cornball and LoCOSuMo weren't enough :)

Good one less person to security to kick out of the park.

Hold the phone guys, There may be some problems with the Flyers getting installed.

The park is considering several places to install them but they are having problems with those property owners near cornball. The area near the double shot is also not cleared for building.

Chuck, who says they want the ride but they are still looking on how to get it installed.
