The never show SFNE either. Even though they have the #1 rated coaster in the world! Of course they showed the SFDL S:RoS but never the SFNE S:RoS. Well, at least they're starting to show more parks other than CP and SFMM.

I beleive that this was the best of the Extreme Rides I've seen, now all I need is the Top Ten of 2003 with Raven making number one yety again. I personally like Corni more but I still think how can Raven not be number one, that last 1250' feet of the ride is so intense!

The show was ok, I didn't like how they spent 10mins talking about Swat and 5min on TTD. Maybe it just seemed that way to me? Also, come on show S:UF n action at SF:Gam! I don't think SF:Gam has ever recieved national TV footage?

That's about one minute for each second of the ride. Kind of like writing a 300-page essay on a 5-page book.

I guess it must of just seemed that way to me. Seems like they draged on and on about Swat.

From what I understand, Kent and Daryl from Astroworld were pretty helpful and they had more more Houston footage to work with than at most parks, hence a lot of it ended up in the show.

Did anyone happen to get the name or what was the tallest drop ride.

Superman Tower of Power would be the tallest drop ride "of its kind."

The real drop ride shown throughout the show was Dungeon Drop at Astroworld.

They had a section on Superman at Dallas, but that is not a real drop ride per say, at least not to me. It's a higher S&S Thrill Shot type of ride.

Their was a lot of time spent on SWAT but it is very unique. I would rather learn about something new, than another coaster. I am glad the show was a cross between coasters and flats. Thank god some other parks beside the Mountain and the Point are getting some coverage.

Are you sure it is on tonight at midnight? I look at the listings and it isn't on there...

The reason I ask about the drop ride last night on the show, it said it was the tallest drop ride. I didn't catch the name, I was just wondering because drop zone at pkd is the tallest in North America that I know of.

They were probably talking about Superman.

It's the Tallest S&S Tower.

Markieb - it's S&S, not S@S. And what is the deal with Superman's actual height? I can't seem to find a straight answer. When I was at SFOT, I recall the Oil Derrick guide indicating that Superman was shorter than the Oil Derrick, which is around 300 feet. It sure looks that way from my observation deck pictures, too.

If I recall, I believe it said something about being 375 feet tall drop ride, but I didn't get all the info on it.

Ghettocoaster, what Jimmybob meant was that the show was rebroadcast @ 12AM this morning,so if you didn't stay up late to catch the repeat then I guess your SOL.

What I found to be rather stupid about the show was the TTD footage, why show the same ride in effect twice when one is just a taller version of the other one? first with Excelerator at KBF,then later with TTD @ CP.

The whole show was fantastic! I loved that shot of dragster where the coaster did the 270 degree spiral , and the camera stayed in the same position. The inner workings part was awesome , and the Xceler8or coverage , but a bit too much time was spent on Thrillshot. And all you people who said that SFGAm's Superman should have been shown , How about Sfog's. Are you forgetting it's the*custom designed* one? Delirium roxors!!!1!1!!1111!!11!!!

And also , I thought teaching punk teens how to fire-eat was a bit dangerous.;)

This 325 foot state-of-the-art wonder will evoke Texas-sized thrills as riders take off skyward for a breathtaking eagle eye’s view of the Dallas-Ft. Worth skyline.

Taken from the SF site!
