Paramount called me up once about three years ago and asked what I wanted them to do. I said, "Whatever you do, don't pander to trends; don't do it just because everyone else is doing it. . .don't get a B&M coaster. In five years, they'll be like the California Raisins of the coaster industry. Nobody will admit to loving them like they did."
Sorry.

I hate when good business sense rains on my coaster parade, though...

Coaster Insomniacs- Coastin' the Night Away

You should be thankful for what PKI has done the last few years...every decision has been spot-on right.
If their recent track record shows anything (extra attention to guests and their wants-building quality, family oriented, people moving attractions- cleaning up the park hardcore) I really think they might be on the track to get to the coveted "perfect" status.
PKI is listening to what people want. Their profits will continue to rise if they continue to do this. In time, the big thrill rides that their surveys say the people want will continue to come. Besides, who said that PKI is done with announcing stuff for next year?
PKI- keep doing what you do best. Listen to your guests and build what works, not what doesn't.

*My least favorite major coaster is Face/Off because it just strikes me as below the park's league, not in ride quality, but in character.
