Longest wait for a ride

What's your longest wait you've had for a ride?

For a coaster: 2001 for the Phantom's Revenge(first season) 90 minutes

For a Flat Ride: 2003 for King Kahuna(Huss Top Spin, first season) 50 minutes

Water Ride: 2002 for Grizzly Run(SFWOA) 65 minutes

That's easy......

The first time was when I was 16 and I thought it would never happen, but after about four months I finally got lucky.

But as far as rollercoasters go, I would have to say 3.5 hours for TTD. Runner up is Test Track (EPCOT), around 3.25 hours. I'm sure I've waited in countless 2 hour lines and to me that doesn't seem like a long time anymore.

I waited about 2 hours fr the phantom's revenge first season when they had all those lines.
second place would be tied between Suprman: ultimate flight at great adventure and Exterminator. After I got my ride opening day with a 0 wait, I came back like 3 hrs. later and waited bout an 1 hr. in a half to ride it again. Iwaited the same amount for exterminator.

For flat rides, it's either for King Kahuna or Power Tower. bout an hr. to ride.

Deja Vu 3.25 hours mainly because of the 8 breakdowns

Superman Ultimate Flight 3 hours waited 2.5 hours in the line then the ride broke down we waited 30 min. left the line we got halfway down the exit ramp it worked again.

The most I have ever waited was around 30 minutes, but I will never wait for any ride over 45 minutes or so. I have knee problems so if I stand for a long time (walking is different), I'll be in pain the rest of the day.

Dragster at 2 hours and 45 minutes, followed by Splash Mountain at 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Recently.. TTD. 4 hours.. 3 for it to open and 1 for them to loasd a train..

All time.. worst wait.. 3.5 hours for Iron dragon in its debut season... hard to believe I know.. but it was the first saturday in june the year it opened.. I think it was 1987..

Boy have things changed...

I don't like to wait in long lines. The longest line that I have waited in was probably around an hour and a half. I always wait for off peak times to jump in line.

Last season at CP I had to wait like 30 minutes at the most for Millennium Force. I rode it 1st thing in the day(Stayed on site to get in early.) then we rode it at the end of the night with about the same wait. For Wicked Twister we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Pretty much everything else was a walk on except Raptor.

I think the longest I have ever waited was at SFA for Superman ROS, and it ended up closing down for most of the day. I think I waited about 2 hours for that.

I can't stand spending my day waiting. I could be in the wavepool at the waterpark or just swimming in the hotel pool.

There are exceptions to the rules. Like when time is limited, and you are only spending a few hours at a park. Thats why I never go to major theme parks on days that I know it'll be packed. A good rule of thumb is to check their calendar of events.

If you see "Gospel Day" or "Christian Day" avoid the park at all costs. There will be many "religious" people that I find to be the most rudest, and annoying. Also avoid the "School days." Then you will see a bunch of teenyboppers running around singing stupid songs. Their shreiking screams can break glass. I was ready to shake a few of them, but I maintained my composure. ;)

In fact thats the reason I opted to visit Dorney this past weekend instead of Gr8 Adv. It was "Gospel day" there, and I can only imagine what the crowd was like. Actually I made the mistake of going to SFA 2 years in a row on "Christian Day." Hard lessons to learn!

I think mine was Exterminator at Kennywood at about an hour. Flat would be don't know. Water would be Splash Mountain at DisneyWorld at about an hour, 45 mins.

I waited 2 hours for S:ROS at SFNE last year, due to one-train operation. I also waited about 1 hour for MF. Shortest wait- Cedar Point, 1 hour before closing after a 4 hour storm. The lucky few in the park who waited out the storm got an empty park for 1 full hour! Walked on MF, WT, Mantis, and managed to get around 6 or 7 laps on Raptor.

Longest for me would be 6 hours for TTD. And the 2nd longest would be 3.5 hours for MF on opening day in 2000.

The Outer Limits:Flight of Fear a week after it opened. I waited for 3.5 hours

4 1/2 on AAA day in 2000.Well worth the wait to ride it before main GP.

Only an 1 hour 45 min. for S:UF. Full que and it went out of the entrance.

Water ride was 45 min. for Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls.

I always got fastpass for the rides w/long lines like Test Track, Space Mt. etc. And I got the Express at IOA for The Incredicle Hulk even though at times the line was only 40 min. I also used Express for Jurassic Park but decided to wait the hour (I think it was a little more) fro Spiderman.

I refuze to stand in a line for over a half hour unless its a newer good ride, like millenuim force, then my max is an hour, plus I tend to travel with people with standing issues due to injuries so, unless I wanna fly solo I got to go along with them, but usually I find days when the parks are rather dead and lines to max out to over 30 min ti and hr, whats the point of going to a park and standing in line for hours and hours and leaving only having ridden 3 or 4 rides, its pointless to me, even with season passes.
