Shockwave at SFGAm

Frank Schramm

I know that most of us are happy about a new ride coming to SFGAm. There are some though, like myself, who wonder what will happen to the old ride.

My question is: Does anyone know where Shockwave is being relocated to????

The strongest rumors pointed to Astroworld. Thats all I'll say because that stuff is all over the internet and the boards.

Let's just say this...it was a "split" decision at SF corp as to where it is going ;)

SW will stay on the small hill by the employee parking lot for the 2003 season. It's fate is still unkown.Personaly I would like to see it rebuilt at SFGAm, but GREATLY improved. But since thats impossible It would be cool for our friends at AstroWorld to enjoy this ride :-)

So wait I'm still unclear on which half is going to SFA and which half is going to SFAW? ;)

Since SW is still on site at SFGrAm, I literally don't think it will pop up anywhere soon this year.

That is a rumor, a bogus rumor if there ever was one.

If you split that ride in half, you would need to fabricate track to plug into the "holes" so-to-speak. I want to knock a hammer on the head of the person who jump started this whole "split" ShockWave nonsense...

The rumor mill here in Houston says SFAW had the chance but turned down the offer.

Our park is only 85 Acres. Shock Wave is really to big for a park of our size.

The last I heard was that SFEG had 'won' the bidding war. Don't know how accurate that info was, though.

Arrow/S&S will use the metal to mass-produce "stick thingys" for future 4D coasters and Suspendeds, right SOOper? ;)

Funny, I want to knock a hammer on the head of anyone who gets really worked up over what has obvioulsy always been a joke.

Chris- Are you really serious? I doubt it. We don't have room for a wild mouse at SFEG, let alone Shockwave. I hope you are kidding.

I'll eat my own poo if at least HALF of Shockwave isn't operating at SFEG next year.

Take that, Kraxle!

I cannot BELIEVE that you just dissed tha 'Moosh like you just did. Don't you have the common sense to realize that that rumor was just a silly joke?! Jokes are fun. The ones that people like Moosh do on this board make it fun. Snobs who get bent out of shape over things like this make it less fun. Relax.
