Shockwave at SFGAm

Some of us really really really funny people here say it's being cut in pieces and one part is being sent to Michael Jackson's Neverland while another part is being sent to Astroworld while what's left is being sent to be refurbished into M:TR (And only those of us INSIDERS know what THAT is! ;)).

Let me edit that for you. :)

If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot 'em?

Here's another idea, instead of splitting it and selling it why not just burn it for scrap metal? I'm sure few would oppose this seeing as how many people have been forced to down countless amounts of Advil pills to get rid of those anooying after-shocks from Shockwave. I speak from experience, even the ultra-smoothness of Raging Bull sent my head screaming in pain at the bottom of each hill after only one ride in Shockwave. Who knows what other uses this coaster could perform if it was sold as scrap metal, maybe it could help thousands of kids have fun on a playground instead of torture the same amount in MJ's lair! Think of the children!!!
Hey wickedtwister, not everyone thinks that Shockwave is just a piece of crap. Some people, whether or not you believe this is up to you, actually enjoy the ride. Personally I don't really care what happens to the ride but that's just me. Remember that other people do have different opinions.

Don't Fight It, Ride It, RAGING BULL!!!!!!- SFGAm

No! Don't scrap ShockWave thats my favorite ride! :-(
Yeah, I didnt enjoy shockwave either, and by the way opinion are opinions, you dont have to agree, remember: this is a free country!. But shockwave could actually have some potential it they smoothened out the track!

Agreed! I loved Shock Wave but it was really bumpy. If the track could be smoothened out and the MCB reworked it could be an outstanding ride!

Minor correction: it's not the track that needed to be "smoothed out" it's the transitions.

Sig under construction!

And WHY would they smooth out the track which would bring in no more visitors, if they could build a new ride and bring in hundreds of new visitors?

Yes you can! I did not just take a course at ISU to explain stuff like that for nothing. Actually, if it wasn't a department requirement to get my degree, I would care less. But, there is an easy way you can have 3 halves. I won't bother to explain because it needs pictures and lot's of talking. :)
