So If this is the beginning of the end, this thing must be like 320 instead of what everybody has been saying. I cant wait till the announcement to find out what is up with the red and white. I does look to be an awesome ride no matter what the ride layout is.

If you look at this it seems to be maybe just the twist. http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/webcam/camera3.cfm

If you look at the most recent webcam you can see it's bending inward.. and like wickedtwisted said - it doesn't look like it will break 400+ ft. as predicted if it's already starting to close in.

No, I wasn't referring to you Raven_n_Legend. It just seems like some of the newer members are accounts created by him to defend himself.

Guys, Jeff has (carefully) spilled the beans many times about this thing being over 400. Yes, it is starting to come inwards, but it has a ways to go yet. Also, the track may go above the superstructure like Xcellerator does, but probably not to that extreme.

I have a feeling that that multi-piece will be about 25-50 ft. below the crown and spike out to like every other track piece on the top hat for support and cosmetics.

Check out crane #2, it got an extension. This thing is huge now.

It's tall but I wonder how much it can lift and will they extend the other crane?

Whats to say that the top of the multi-piece has to connect straight to the track, we could have one support continue to go upward from it to hold the track, which would still correct the stress issues that were evident with Xcelerator.

Wickedtwisted what are you talking about....The structure is already at 320-330 feet...The catwalk still has to be completed followed by structure beams and probably that funny looking piece and then followed by more structure beams and then track...It will be over 400 feet...

Hmm, there seems to be a problem with the Web Cam's. On every page it says that the picture is an archived photo. Has this ever happened before with the cams?

Right on the top of the web cam it says...A view of the Millennium Force™ overlooking Lake Erie from our cam mounted on top of PowerTower! (This photo is an archive photo from earlier.)

Here: http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/webcam/camera1.cfm

It also says it on the top of 1 of the other cams and at the bottom of the another one.

if you guys want to see a live pic on the webcams instead of an archived one, you have to type in the original webcam address before they changed the extensions to camera1, camera2 and camera3. i can only remember two off the top of my head but only one of them gives a live pic.

It's not a problem, they do this so you can see what the structures look like at night.
