No Wild Mouse for PKI

Myra the Alien

Friday, October 11, 2002 10:47 AM
This will be closed shortly after I post this, but I am just passing along the news that Screamscape's rumor about a Wild Mouse for PKI next year is incorrect. I saw the expansion plans back in June during a visit to PKI. I knew about Scooby and Delirium and two other possible attractions(one being a new simulator film, but I am not saying what it is or I will not be told anything else in regards to future expansions). Unless plans have changed, there is no Mouse coaster coming to the park for next year. This may be closed after I post it because me seeing the actual plans isn't as valid as seeing two footers in the ground at CP.

PointMan is right as far as THIS year is concerned, but I'm still believing PKI will get a WILD mouse, sometime in the future...but it won't be like the "other mouses"....;)

I hate it when people post to say they have "classified" information, but won't reveal what it is.

It's like walking around your office telling people you have a secret.

If you're not going to spill it, don't say anything at all.

I know a secret and I WILL share it....

Myra the Alien is actually Darren Mullins, a known troublemaker on various coaster boards. Trust me when I say that Myra has no access to any "expansion plans."

The fact that PKI will not get a wild mouse coaster next season should not be a surpise to anyone. Actually they are not getting any type of coaster next season, well unless you count......

I know! I know! They're gonna have drink coasters at PKI now, right?

Moosh - who, unlike Bassistist, does not count drink coasters.

Yup, yup, yup. The second I saw the name pop up here, I just groaned. Any other old schoolers from URC should be pretty familiar. But why in the world use the same name!?! lol

Im going to go 100% with Shaggy on this one, Myra is trouble. He has also been know to show up at enthusiast houses univited.

While I have nothing personally against Darren, I would not hang around him, next thing ya know he'll be threatening you with blackmail tapes of you doing something. like telling him to get lost.

Chuck, is there such a thing as enthusiast terroism, Nungester?

Moosh: It's the only way I'm going to pass you!

And as for Darren Mullins, he has about as much credibility as Paul Rueben.

Deep and pithy stuff...

Unless plans have changed, there is no Mouse coaster coming to the park for next year.

Unless I'm wrong, I'm right. Okayyyy.

In other news, I just signed a 4-year, $28 million dollar contract to play basketball for the Knicks. One problem--I can't get them to sign it too. I just said as much as Myra did.

You know, the worst thing you could do to the cross-dressing 'Alien' is ignore him/her and his/her imaginary friends who have long conversations with him/her/it....as if there were two people on earth that could blather together in such ponderous fashion without killing each other.

Does than not sound right. It is like saying Cedar Point is getting an intamin rocket coaster that is 420ft high, 4,014 ft long and 120 mph and will be named afterburner but I am not going to say anything...

Shaggy - obviously you refer to the new MasterBlaster Water *Coaster* going into WaterWorks. Thanks for confirming that. I suspected that the third attraction would be something for Waterworks and the water*COASTER* just makes sense as they don't have anything quite like it there.

I may have to go visit WaterWorks next summer.

(Gee, a family ride, a thrill ride, and a waterslide, why does that sound like a park in the great woodie filled State of Indiana!) :)

Hey man, I hear ya. It is annoying. Also, is this water coaster like Roller Soaker? Even if PKI isn't getting it, I would still like to know what it is.
