Gator - You'll be glad if you do it. It's definitly a quality over quantity trek, but well worth the effort. Good stuff.

well chris, I am both picky AND piggy....quality AND quntity....but Jill's brother is up in one of those Seattle *bedroom communities* (can I say that on a family site?).....I may have to drive to Idaho by my lonesome, but you can't understand how foreign the concept of *tunnels* is to us flatlanders....

That drive is *hardcore.* Seventy-five percent of it is absolutely gorgeous, some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. The rest of it reminded me of some T.S. Elliot type of stuff.

I'm gonna do it again next year for sure. Hopefully not in one day this time, though.

I gotta get back in the convo here... Gator, when you come out here, look me up, and I will make your trip somewhat interesting for you. That, and I want to hit Coaster again. If at all possible, head out for the event at Silverwood (keep your eye on RRC), and do the dance Chris and Bassistist did this year. 3 parks, 3 days....pure bliss.:) Besides, I am so much fun to be around.....;)

Getting serious for a second [yes, I can do it] I'll second nasai...he's a blast to hang out with. If everything works out as planned I'll be along, too.

And now back to the jockularity!

I'm down for at least that trip again: CAC, Puyallup, Playland. CAC is already 'in the books' for next year. No way I'm missing all those night rides on Tremors.

If SFEV gets that woodie and they aren't open around CAC, I'll have to do it twice. That second one would probably be a Seattle/Vancouver weekend for me.

CAC will be on my agenda next year. I will make it a point, as long as I am in the country, that is. Chris, you can make two trips....I won't mind:) Tiana was asking about you yesterday as well. 'Moosh, I don't get the goon comment regarding Robb. Is this in regards to the posts on RRC?

Titan - Awesome! I can't wait to get more Coaster rides in with my #1 riding partner. Tell everyone I say 'hi.'

nasai - there is no connection between my "goons" and Robb, its just an inside joke between Chris B and I.

I bet it's less precise than you think. In a recent version (2000 I think), there were three coasters with the incorrect names on the coaster page (Blue Steak, Woodcock Express, etc.). If they can't spell a simple name, why should they be trusted with precise numbers?

I think Guinness has been given a lot of authority it doesn't deserve....

We call them typos. And with so many pages of listed information, there is bound to a misspelling for a ride title.

I'm just glad the Sonics signed Rashard Lewis (thought this thread needed to be diverted again)

Wow, Woodcock Express.....I could definitely have a field day with that one if this wasn't a family site....;)

Those aren't typos. A typo is mixing up two letters, or typing a letter that's nearby the letter you meant to type.... i.e., Woodstcok Express or Woodstocj Express. Woodcock Express is just ignorance.

-Dennis (who's still angry at Guinness for cutting out like half of the records for picture space, and who still has the 1986 version, which is like 800 pages thick.)

Rashard Lewis? Ugh. He's cool, but I don't think he's worth all the trouble it took to come up with a deal.

Still, I guess I'd rather have him than Donyell Marshall.

Coaster rules!

Hey, don't *diss* Donyell Marshall. The Gators never would've made our FIRST Final Four without him blowing both ends of a two-shot foul with NO time left on the clock.....Over-time, as they say on "the network", led to a Gator victory, and the rest....is history.

The Soncis stand no chance regardless, even my Kings couldn't take out The Diesel....he runs on fumes, lol.

Back to coasters (poor segue, I apologize)....the NW territory is calling my name....gimme those specs ASAP so I can start wearing down Jill's resistance to the *interminable* drive to Idaho - The only place I can think of offhand where 'Moosh's PPP costumes would've fit in, but only WITH the hoods.
