What I know:

From a very reliable source, there is a problem with welds cracking in the towers.

What I don't know:

The cause of the cracking. Could be underdesign, poor welding, poor metal, poor welding rod, or ?.

WT is being retracked as we speak. At night they replace one piece of track, test it for 3 or 4 hours and then it is running by the time the people rush the gate. It should not be much longer before WT is fully retracked.

Reliable source? What source is that, all of the replaced steel on the tower? I think we could all see that.

I just got back from CP on the 4th and 5th and it was running fine. It was going pretty high up the towers, but the launch was rather slow so I couldn't tell if it running at full blast. It was open both days I went, and they had no downtime during the day whatsoever.
