How does Jeff know what is going on at parks?

Hey I am new to the site and I wondering how Jeff knows what is going on in the industry and knows exactly what the parks are getting and when. For example, in a rumor thread, someone said no one probaly knows the truth about what cedar point is getting but Jeff. How does he know?

He doesn't usually know exactly what is going to happen, but he has a better guess than most from exclusive information and putting past rumors and clues together.

I love how he tortures everybody by not saying anything. Even though I go crazy too it's still funny to watch everyone else go crazy too.

Well keep in mind, Jeff owns to of the biggest coaster sites anywere! And, the biggest CP fan site.

FinchFanatic, it was a very advanced code maker that even the FBI couldn't break, or at least that's what I remember reading about it. The point is, there was no way anybody could break it except Jeff. It was funny, because some moron was saying he broke the code and knew what it said, even though that was impossible. And to answer the original question, how does Jeff know what is going on? He is a trustworthy person that knows high up people. They can tell him and know he won't spill the beans unless they say it is ok. It's all about who you know.

The reason he knows what's going on is that someone in line for Mantis last year told him about a conversation he had with a funnel cake chick who told him about all the expansions for the next few years.

Management always wants to know how future plans will affect funnel cakes. They are the barometer of all parks. If the funnel cakes aren't sellin' then there's gonna be hell to pay.

While the Lemon Chill Guy is my first preference, you should consider that after this many years I've made a lot of friends and talked to a lot of people. Right now I could tell you about two industry stories that are a really big deal, but can't. If I did I wouldn't know the next one.

It's a small industry. Everybody knows everybody, and they like to share.

And one of those stories right now is killing me... it would depress a lot of enthusiasts if they knew.

I do not know, however, what time Kennywood will close tonight.
