Everyone has a hobby, heck I ride coasters, chase trains, watch NASCAR, collect toy tractors, model trains, and die cast racecars and I haven't had a problem.
heck my girlfreind collects Precious Moments dolls and chats on the Internet. I don't think she is geeky.
BTW to answer your last question we are about as close to being married as ya can be without living together or being official.

I really don't think it's geeky at all. Yes when you are talking to non informed people it may seem that Coasters are the most important thing to you but that is not the case. It's a hobby, It's fun and it's getting out and living life and meeting new people all the time.

hell, when i went to SFNE by myself after droping off my sis at the airport i met up with 3 realls hot girls and ended up making out with one of them...but she lived about an hour away from me so i havent talked to her again.
