Even if they don't get a major ride next year which they probably won't they are still going to spend over $20 mil in park improvements across the park anyway. Why complain?

Ironically, Tom Jones now works for CP. And i do think that the two parks run under different models. I would say that it is clear that CP runs under a plan that extends for a few years in advance, while SF parks tend to shoot from the hip.

Maybe the fenced off construction and footers are for the launched-tera-flying-woodie that I heard they were getting in '03! I heard it straight from his mouth. MJ (that's what Monty prefers I call him) said, "Don't tell anyone this, but for 2003 Cedar Point is going to build a launched-tera-flying-wooden coaster. Then to fix the shortcoming of space problem they are going to buy Michigan." lol

Mr. Jones is a very capable induvidual. I would sooner believe that his move to CP was a direct result of his successes at GLP/SFO/SFWOA.
Nothing new at CP in 2003? Stop the presses! Anyone who gets mad if CP doesn't add a thrill ride in 2003 needs to get a life!
