just wandering what sounds a coaster makes that you like the most. most people would hate it, but i think they are the best sounds in the world(but music is great too!)
my 3 are:
1.)a LIM launch...(volcano, etc)
2.)Any B&M that hasnt had gravel put in the supports/track(incredible hulk)
3.)And for some reason, i like the sound the brakes make when they release. either a soft "pop" or the air release.
those are mine...what are yours?
Umm...
I love the loud roaring sound of B&M coasters (ex. Medusa)
Lift hill(specificly the anti-rollback, where the chaindog makes that clicking sound.)
Screaming riders if that counts concidering it's not the coaster but the people riding the coaster

Are roller coasters my life? NO, but I certainly like them!
Mine would have to be...
1.) The short releases of the brakes on Premier LIM shuttle coasters.. tst..tst..tst..tst..tst,.tst.. There is so much anticipation waiting for the launch there...
2.) The errie sound of Wooden coaster track and supports bending and squeaking as you witness the structure move from side to side while waiting in the queue.
3.) That wonderful roar that most B&M coasters make as they fly along the track at fast speeds.
I'm sure I could think of more, but those are the ones that come to mind at the moment :)

WCUSA-The World's largest theme park is coming!
Theme parks will NEVER be the same!
I've got the best.
1. The sound that Mantis makes going around the track. It's awesome!
2. The sound Raptor makes going around the track. Another amazing sound.
3. And the best has to be sitting at the Potato Patch at Kennywood and hearing the Thunderbolt flying by on those bends. I could sit there forever! (For the fries of course!)
Shoewee
2. The clickety clack of an Arrow chainlift.
3. The sound of a wooden coaster racing along the track.

-Hurler Crew 2002-
1. clackety-chink, clackety-chink, clackety-chink....(That wonderful chain-driven lift hill sound.)
2. Rooaaarrrrrrr......."WOO-HOO"!!! (The first drop).
3. And to be more ride-specific, that incredibly cool echoing roar you hear when the Montu at BGT comes out of its vertical loop and dives underground right in front of your eyes as you watch it from below.
