your 3 favorite coaster sounds

1. BKF's Roar.

2. Any wooden coaster going around its tracks. Gotta love that wood ;)

3. BKF's chain dogs. Very quiet, and all you hear is.. thud, thud, thud, thud very quietly and it echo's. I love it :)

Welcome to Batman Knight Flight, America's longest floorless coaster.

My top 3 sounds are:

1. Definitely the sounds that a good old schwartzcoph loop makes. I LOVE that noise.

2. B&M roar....need i say more?

3. The sound that occurs when a B&M goes over the lift. (Ex. SUF)

1. The sound of the train coming into the final brake run.

2. The smooth roar of a B&M! (of course!)

3. Any kind of launch coaster!

1. The B&M 'creak' at the top of the lift. I think this is the sound duelingdragonsrok11 is talking about.

2. Raging Bull's sizzle when standing under the turnaround in Viper's line.

3. B:TR's roar when standing in the ghetto.

Less than 2 weeks until SFGAm opens!

My top three sounds:

1. Wooden coaster chain lift

2. B&M coaster roaring as the train goes by

3. Sound of the brakes releasing while you're on the coaster

-----------------
I can't think of a good signature.

I love every sound.

1. The chain lift hill. ( the most beautiful sound in the world!)

2. The roar of steel coasters and the clicking of the wooden coasters

3. The brakes (even tho its the end of the ride it still sounds cool )

I also love the anit rollback clicking, hearing the word "clear", the screaming sound of LIM's, the excitement of the other riders, the sound of air rushing by my side and at my face at 93 mph, the airgates, the locking of the lapbars, the unlocking of the lap bars, the locking of the OTSR, the unlocking of the OTSR, the workers saying that you can just stay on cuz theres nobody in line, batman music, superman music, music from the station, the floor lowering on BKF, the floor lowering on inverted coasters.

God I love coasters!!!

1. Arrow chainlift

2. Roar of a train as it speeds by

3. The click-click that people make at the end of standups and inverts with their belt releasers by pulling them up and letting 'em go, especially on RRv. It's kind of a natural thing to do on RRv.

4. A wood coaster flying through the track.

5. "Want to go again?"

Worst Sounds-

1. The thud of your head bouncing in an OTSR...

2. Final breaks...

3. "Welcome back..."

4. "Please exit the cars..."

5. The ring in your ears after getting off of a headbanger...

1.)a LIM launch...(volcano, etc)

2.)Any B&M that hasnt had gravel put in the supports/track(incredible hulk)

3.)And for some reason, i like the sound the brakes make when they release. either a soft "pop" or the air release.

I like the first and the last one there. I also like the sound of the motor on S:ROS as the chain speeds up and slows down. I also like the grinding sounds some coasters make when going around sharp turns.

1) Any Arrow lift.
2) the Special effects on Demon (SFGAm) when going thru the corkscrews
3) That one person yelling "Oh ****!" when they realize they've bitten off a little too much (usually that's me :))

Besides, if we were really shutting down people we disagreed with, would Jeremy (2Hostyl) still be around? :) I think not. - Jeff 1/24/02

Favs: 1) Air gates opening for me to enter the ride

2) Brakes releasing in the station on the way to the lift.

3) Train engaging lift (ok, T-Bolt not included...:)).

4) Train releasing from lift

or, in place of all these, when applicable, the sound of the LIMs/LSMs preparing to fire.

Least favs: 1) "Thanks for riding, enjoy the rest of your day at..."

2) "That concludes daily operations at..."

Number one has to be the infamous B&M roar. Nothing beats it in my book.

Number two is the moment that a train catches the lift and the chain lift kind of "thunks" and then quickly picks up the slack.

Number three has to be the sound of the wind rushing around me on any coaster, especially the really fast ones.

My favorite "sound" is that brief moment of silence after the clicking of the anti-rollbacks stops but just before the train starts moving downhill.

everything's better with a banjo

1 - Impulse Coaster launch. The scream the LIMs make on this thing are awesome!

2 - GCI Millennium Flyers hauling through Lightning Racer's tracks.

3 - The breathing of the track on most hypers as the train goes along the hops. Most noticeable while in line for Steel Force. Stand underneath the track and the train goes through the bunny hops.

My number one sound on any coaster is definitely Legend's train going through its first tunnel. That deep bass sound is fan-freakin'-tastic!

May 31 isn't that far away.

"I have a flashlight, enjoy the show!"

Reading this made me think of something. Would it be cool to have a C.D. with sound effects of a themepark like metioned in this thread.

Are roller coasters my life? NO, but I certainly like them!

I like that idea. I'd buy it

I was even trying to see if they had the lifthill sounds on a media downloader. I never found anything tho.

Each park could also make CD's with music from each coaster. Except maybe SF cause they'd have batman and superman for each CD.

my three favorite sounds are

1.the roar of the millennium force train past the station.

2.the roar of any B&M

3.The sound of the wild one going down the first drop

Definetely the sound of the last turnaround on The Villain... it makes this type of "villainish laughing" sound.... Call me Crazy, but I LOVE IT! =o)

Since I'm deaf, I'll just tell my three favorite "vibrations," NO, not that kind of vibrations, sickos! that I experience from roller coasters.

The B&M roar is definitely my favorite. I could sit all day around Top Gun: TJC and imagine myself riding Top Gun with the B&M roar. But I'd rather ride the thing myself.

Next favorite is the feeling of the chain dog on woodies. Clank! Clank! Clank!

Third favorite, a toughie, but being deaf, sometimes I like to hear: NOTHING.
