Screaming on a decline

It seems to be 'harder' to scream as rides get taller and faster as well.... although i don't have scientifical data to proove myself... SO SORRY FOR NOT HAVING ANY... (rolls eyes) but I find it to be that way....

/end of venting of stress

When I am on S:ROS with a friend that has never been on it at the top I always say "Get ready for the sensation of a plane about to crash because you are going to drop 208 feet at a 75 degree angle!"

I just normally tend to laugh my head off, throwing several Yee Haws, and the occ. O' shizers on the first drop, the only time I was ever speachless was Friday when MagnumForce talked me into riding DropZone. I think I finally said a quiet oh when the sholder harness released.

Its seems like more people scream on the little dips out of the station than the actuall ride itself these days lol.

I am not sure why but I swear a lot. :-)

Especially X. Families, don't let your kids ride near me on X. They would never be the same.

I almost never scream, but occasionally I let out an "Oh my God." Hypersonic launch and first MF front row ride got the OMG out of me.

I noticed in the 2000' coaster season that I was tensing up on rides...so ever since then I just relax and shout...do the usual "whoo's..." and laugh. Recently (2001' season) when I am riding a ride like the Villain with my friends I will turn to them and scream as loud as I can really highpitched in their ear...they laugh their asses off and it's pretty fun.

What I love hearing is on a ride like Raging Bull or Apollo's Chariot (only B&M hypers with a little dip before the drop) is premature screaming. Occasionally an individual yells a long string of profanity, and those dips almost always fool 'em.

***I'm not for yelling curses in public, I'm just amused by it.

Thats funny becuase I noticed that too. I guess becuase maybe people are getting bored of the older coasters? But when I went to SFgadv this past weekend I heard alot more screaming then in the past. I laugh and scream ,I never say "oh yea" "woohoo" or any other things like that becuase it just dosent sound right too me ,and im not that type of person, I will admit i do scream but its for fun and to releve a bit of strees but its nuthing to sissy like. Or somtimes i dont scream at all becuase it just takes away from the ride, and you feel nuthing.

A few years back we went to SFGAm with some friends. Their 9 year old son Chris was sitting next to me. As we went over the first hill of Raging Bull, he yelled "Hold on to your Bibles!" It was really cute...

Maybe the problem is that some coasters are so loud that you can't hear anyone screaming. Take Medusa or Batman & Robin the Chiller as examples.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.

I always yell on a coaster on the first drop, it's not screaming but more of a cheering. On BKF's drop out of the station before the lift my friends and I scream our heads off sometimes...it gets some laughs out of the people waiting in the queue.

Goku2216, I'm just reading and replying to a few old topics that I happened to see when I was scrolling through old threads. There's nothing wrong with what I'm doing and like Chitown said you're encouraged to use the search feature rather than start needless new topics. Thanks for your support Chitown.
