Don't forget the Gemeni 100 at CP.  It has gained legendary status over on GTTP

Ohh June 11th the Gemini 100.  I was one of the few who got 101 rides for the day, after my 99th ride on Gemini I had to go visit my baby for my 100th lap of the day!

well, I know it doesnt really count as a coaster marathon, but I probably have ridden Deja Vu the most times in a row (without leaving, I only moved to get a different seat).  Well other than maintenance..but I have ridden deja vu like 12 times in a row.

Anyone who wants to break the current record had better be ready to kill the entire summer...Rodriguez marathoned the Boss @ SFStL (no soft coaster!) for somewhere in the neighbourhood of 3 months last year...and I don't care *what* coaster it is, you could *not* get me to stay on it for that long. Weeks possibly, months is just too much of a time investment IMO.

for those of you who werent paying attention, the record setting venture of 75 DIFFERENT coasters in 24 hrs can be found in the CoasterBuzz News Archives

http://club.coasterbuzz.com/news/news.asp?NewsID=2667

and included a link to the actual local publication that explained the trip in detail. The link is no longer active, but I am sure you can get an archived copy of the report from the newspaper if you contact them.

Just a general question to anyone who may have an idea --

I'm interested in trying to put together a coaster marathon to benefit a charity.  Anyone know who I have to contact or what I have to do to pull this off?
