Funniest thing said at a park?

I just wanted to know what the funniest thing anyone has heard at any given park.

I had a WAAAASSSSSUUUUUPPPPP-ing contest with some people on The Racer at PKI. It was awesome.

I've also done this on those hand-held radios with people.

Well I've done the Wassup thing on Thunder Road @ Carowinds as well. Back in '93, a few of us went to SFGAm the day after prom (Chi-town tradition) and we convinced the ops to race the American Eagle and we had two whole train loads going uh-oh, uh-oh (it's from a house music track). It was rockin'. Not really funny, but definetly fun!

In line for CCMR, this guy was having trouble getting his lapbar down, so the op just shoved it down on him really hard and the guy said "good thing i wasnt excited!" It was funny.

Probably the time this summer when the ride-op on the Magnum started screaming the song, "Who Let the Dogs Out"

A few years ago at SFMM, I heard someone ask "Where's THE Batman:The Ride?"

I never really heard anyones full comments but at Hershey for some reason people stand and gawk at the Sidewinder. It's just a sutpid boomerang people are amazed at how it goes forward and backwards. I guess people don't get out much.

When you work in Guest Services, you hear many stange things not only from guests but from colleagues as well...
~"No Ma'am I am sorry but that ride is at Kentuckey FRIED Kingdom." This was said by a Manager to a guest. Freudian slip? Maybe he was hungry.
~(The time is 6:00 and rain has been pouring all day)
"So you are telling me that you want your admission refunded due to the weather?"
"Yes."
"What time did you get here?"
"5:30"
~"What do you mean I can't use this here?" (This is in regard to a Season Pass VOUCHER [Unprocessed Pass] for SFDL attempting to be use at Geauga Lake)
~"Oh, this isn't Sea World?" (After being inside asking where the Shamu Show was.
~"Umm, I lost my dentures on the Serial Thriller"
~"I'm going to sue you for scaring my wife to the ground" said while exiting Brutal Planet (Haunted Attraction) after said individual's wife got "hurt"

They always keep coming...

While working at Dorney Park a family came up and asked where the chocolate tour ride was, LoL, I honestly couldn't help myself, and I explained that Chocolate World is at Hershey Park, not Dorney.

At CP we always had people asking us where The Beast went.

In my time working for the mouse, I was constantly asked what time it would stop raining (like I have control of it) and what time the 3:00 parade was (I think you just answered your own question). While working at Universal I was asked where the Tower of Terror was (hint: at the competition).

TWO people in a matter of 25 minutes came up to me while I was walking along by the Millennium Force tunnels at CP and asked me if MF was a water ride.

I was at Cedar Point this spring the day Millennium Force rolled back during its morning test run. The people behind me looked at each other and said, "Is it supposed to do that?"

"Mommy, im not afraid of the coaster its just i dont like this line!" - Little girl in DD Line

"Yes I think the coaster does goes downhill?"
- Two very cool people in the S:ROS line (SFDL)
- He was also very serious

"Is that Magnum?" -Someone looking at S:ROS (SFNE) pics.

"Is that Steel Phantom?" -Someone Pointing at a Goliath shirt.

Also I would like to know why people like THE Millennium so much? And why does this topic come up in theme parks?

I only wish there were as many vertical drops in the world as most people claim there is since most coasters do go "Straight Down".

While working at CP (on TC):

Where's the Rapture (or Where's the Rapper)
Can I have the dry seat? (on TC)
Don't worry honey, it is just a special effect (referring to a real, live snake that somehow ended up in their raft, probably got too close to a waterfall)
Oops! (heard from 4 very large gst in the back row of an otherwise empty SRF boat and caused it to "miss the final curve" into the station.)
Oops, #%*! (heard from manager during early AM Gemini testing when the Blue train failed to clear the second hill and rolled back)

Oh yeah, in the context of those hand-held radios, I heard people riding Raptor, Millennium Force, and Mantis broadcast them. It was cool, because I knew where they were on the rides from their reactions.

I was standing in line for Mantis when a guy broadcast it, I knew, because as I watched the train, his expressions matched where the train was. especially at the diving loop since we were right beside it. On the break run I saw the person with the radio is his hand, and I said,

"Would the person who just broadcast their ride on Mantis: Please stand up, Please stand up, Please stand up!?!"

It was so fitting, and he started cracking up, and then we carried on a conversation.

On CHAOS at CP, I yelled "Is this a water ride?" And the ride op actually broadcast "NO THIS IS NOT A WATER RIDE!" Also, while boarding the round-up at Americana, I yelled the same, to which a guest replied "only if you piss yourself!"

Probably the funniest thing I've heard was when my girlfriend and I were on the car ride at Cedar Point that is near the Raptor. She got on the ride and my brother and I were yelling at her, making fun of her (just for fun). We would yell at her and tell her to stop at the stopsign. The operator would say it over the intercom to her "You failed to stop and signal Kathy" He started making fun of her, too. Then when she got back to the station he said on the intercom, "Thank you for participating in the Cedar Point Driving School Program. You failed!"

Oh wait, I've got one other funny story, while waiting in line for Wild One (the coaster not the person =]) @ SFA the coaster was not properly aligned in the station and the some of the restraints got stuck. The ride op in the control booth, Joe, told everyone since they were stuck, they would get a "Bonus Ride", they all started cheering. The other platform ops pushed down the vacant bars and re-checked the stuck ones. They gave the thumbs up and Joe started the coaster...only to move it about a foot!! Then he was like "Welcome Back! Did you enjoy your ride?". Everybody in the station was on the floor laffin'. The people that had been stuck were booing and giving the razzberries. It was too funny....and some people dont like the SFA ops, not me though!
