The latest issue of Amusement Today arrived this afternoon and delivered quite a shocker to me - a new coaster from CCI for Indiana Beach!!!!!!!! Mentioned both in an AT article and a CCI add, the second ever CCI indoor coaster "The Lost Coaster of Superstition mountain" will debut in 2002. CCI will rehab the existing 3 floor dark ride (I wish I had ridden it this year, darn!) and create an indoor wood coaster "with an attitute" (made in comparison to The Underground). The 2 car trains will face each other so you can choose which way you can sit. Since there is no room for a traditional lift, they will also employ a new elevator style lift.
I won't scan the AT article since it's copyrighted, etc. ......however, someone has scanned the CCI add for proof, and here it is:

When I first read this article, I wondered, "Now where in the heck are they gonna put a coaster?" Then again, someone could have said that at the announcement of both the Hurricane and Cornball.

Indiana Beach and Big Chief will be the only parks in the world to have three separate CCI projects.

Both within 100 miles of me!
I'm glad(and surprised) IB is getting another CCI, since Cornball and Hurricane are awesome rides, this one will probably follow in the tradition.
